Once we got back to the school, we all gathered in the gym for a little pep talk. Coach Ukai gave us a big speech but it was Daichi who really got through to the team in the end.

"Our job is to survive tomorrow" Daichi declared. We all put our hands in together. "KARASUNO FIGHT" he yelled.

"FIIIIGHHHTTTTTT" we screamed in unison. Everyone was about to head off but I knew now was the only chance I'd get to tell them the bad news.

"Uhh guys before you go I um have something I need to share with you" my hands were now clammy from my nerves.

"Huh what's this ? little miss Coach wants to give her own speech" Ukai clearly wasn't picking up on my gloomy mood. They all sat on the ground in front of me eagerly awaiting to hear what I had to say. I felt my throat tighten, it was difficult to breathe. My mouth became as dry as a desert.

"Uh are you alright (y/n) ? Do you need some water ?" Suga looked at me in concern.

"nO" my voice squeaked, I sounded like a teenage boy going through puberty. I coughed to clear my throat. "So eh this isn't going to be some amazing motivational speech, I actually have some bad news." I twiddled with my thumbs to try calm myself. "So there's something I've been keeping from you all and for the first time my two lives are majorly clashing together." I began.

"What is this ? Some sort of Hannah Montana shit ?" Tsukki snidely remarked. I mean in a way he wasn't half wrong I thought. The third years and Tanaka knew exactly where I was going with this.

"Tsukishima let her speak God damn it" Tanaka roared at him.

"So as you know I'm a swimmer but eh what you don't know is the real reason I came here to Japan. I eh I was scouted by Azuma Ryuji a famous ex professional athlete. On top of that I was also offered a spot here on the Japanese Youth team. I've won multiple national titles and achieved regional records." It all came pouring out of me. "I'm sorry that I kept it a secret but I didn't want to make a big deal of it. I preferred seeing you guys in action." All their jaws dropped in shock apart from Tanaka and the third years. Kageyama had turned completely white and passed out. Hinata's eyes were spinning round and round as if his brain was malfunctioning and Noya was clenching his chest as if he was having a heart attack.

"But eh that's not all I need to tell you guys. I uh I messed up, I mixed up the dates and well on the last day of the qualifiers I have to go to the swimming Nationals." I sighed. "I have every faith that you guys are going to make it to the finals but I feel awful missing one of yere matches" I bit the inside of my cheeks to hold back my tears. The gym fell silent. This all felt like deja vu.

"YOU ARE THE COOLEST PERSON EVER" Hinata was the first to speak up. "That's amazing, wow nationals wow and oooooh the youth team that's so so so awesome. I want to be the volleyball version of you, teach me your ways Coach" he wrapped himself around my leg. "TEACH ME" he begged.

"Sho, swimming and volleyball are two very different sports" I chuckled.

"That's amazing (y/n), I'm so proud of for making it to nationals" Suga teared up.

"Picture this (y/n), the national swimmer and greatest Libero unite forces. We could be a power couple" Noya insisted.

"Sorry not going to happen Noya" I giggled. Yachi ran over to me and tackled me with a hug.

"You're amazing, I can't believe I'm friends with someone like you" she gazed up at me in awe.

"Yachi you've got it all wrong, I'm the lucky one to have a friend like you" I beamed. Yachi's cheeks flushed red.
