Your POV

It was dark outside, the only source of light was coming from the glow of the moon. A light breeze swept over the tops of the trees making them sway.

"Not to pry, but eh why swimming ?" Akaashi softly spoke.

"I bet she's working on a top secret training technique for Karasuno, hope you don't mind when I borrow it" Kuroo smirked. I completely forgot that apart from my own team no one here knew that I swam. It was somewhat relieving to be inconspicuous for once.

"Not even close Kuroo aha. I'm actually a swimmer. You guys did see me get smacked in the face by the volleyball earlier right ? Did that not give away the fact that volleyball isn't exactly my forte ?" I said messingly.

"Hmm how do I know you're not just saying that so I won't steal your training technique for myself " Kuroo interrogated.

"Yeah, I didn't even know Karasuno had a swim team" Akaashi added.

"They don't, I swim with a club outside of school" I explained "Just wait till you see me swim then Kuroo, I'm sure that'll be sufficient evidence to prove that I'm not lying." I proclaimed.

"I believe you (y/n)" Bokuto piped up.

"Thank you Bokuto, and there I was thinking that Kuroo was the smart one." I teased.

"(Y/N) I wouldn't say things like that it'll only boost Bokuto-san's ego" Akaashi sighed. From the corner of my eye I saw that Kuroo seemed to be studying me.

"Anyway (y/n) what's the story with you and four eyes then ?" Kuroo spoke up. "You two seem close but in a weird way, do you perhaps like him ?"

"I know sometimes it may seem like we don't get along but it's all just jokes. Of course I like him he was technically my first friend at Karasuno after all." I obliviously stated. "Although if you asked him that he'd probably deny it, but that's Tsukki for ya." I chuckled.

"That's not what I meant, I mean do you- Kuroo was cut off by Bokuto's shouting.

"Hey, hey, hey look there's the pool." he pointed towards it in excitement. He grabbed my arm and tugged me along vigorously. I walked over to the seating area where I had thrown my gear bag this morning. I unzipped the front compartment of the bag and took out my whistle, stopwatch and clipboard.

"Here Bokuto-san" I handed him the stopwatch and clipboard. Crap did I just call him Bokuto-san I panicked. I was so used to hearing Akaashi say it that it just slipped right out of my mouth. I saw the boys raise their eyebrows in suspicion but no one said anything. "You were the only one to believe me so you can timekeep for me." I quickly added. Bokuto was intensely studying the clipboard.

"Wait, what ? you want me to time you for almost an hour ?" Bokuto moaned.

"Huh?" I was puzzled. "Why do you think that?" I questioned. He pointed to the times on the clipboard.

"Look it says here your time is 57 minutes and 49 seconds." He said matter of factly. I burst out laughing. I was laughing so hard that I had literal tears in my eyes.

"Bokuto thats 57 seconds not minutes." I wheezed. Akaashi peered over Bokuto's shoulder to inspect the clipboard.

"Whaaaat ? Then what's the 49 after it ?" poor Bokuto was confused.

"Those are milliseconds Bokuto-san" Akaashi facepalmed at Bokuto's stupidity.

"Hey not bad gorgeous, a lap in under a minute that's impressive." Kuroo flirted. Again I was in stitches. How clueless they were about swimming was hilarious to me.
