Ray's POVAt the end of the day, we have our own errands to do but decided to meet up at the coffee shop again.
That idiot knows how to.. ugh.
He even made an effort to bring her. Anna isn't even that close to us because she's always with her bestfriend Nat..!
Lol. k fine.
Though deep down.. ugh. I don't wanna think about it. I just arrived and can finally see them through the wide glass window of the café. Norman and Anna isn't there yet.
"Yo" I greeted, with my hands on my pocket. I sat beside Emma.
"Here. We ordered for you already." Gilda said, handing me my usual drink. Don kept blabbering about nonsense again, while she just listened to him. I glanced at Emma and raised a brow.
She's quiet? That's new.
"Oi baka. What's with the long face?"
She snapped out from her thoughts, faced me, and pouted a bit.
"No I'm nooot..!"
"Yeah right. Whatever. But seriously, is something bothering you?" I asked.
She was okay earlier though.
"Nothing. I-"
She cutted off her own sentence when Norman and Anna arrived. Gilda jumped from her seat and gave Anna a hug.
"Howdyyyy? I missed youuu. It's been a while!" She exclaimed, making the blonde girl's face turn red.
"I'm fine siis..! E-eh I'm just a bit busy with the student's council these days that's why." She replied, fidgeting her fingers. Emma smiled at her widely and offered a handshake.
"Hello! My name is Emma! "
Anna gave her an eye-closed smile and introduced herself as well.
"The name is Anna. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Norman and Anna sat beside each other, but I always caught him glancing at Emma from time to time. It's weird to say, but I feel suffocated having her around. I can't say I am genuinely happy with her presence.I admitted that I have a small thing for her, yet there's something about Anna that just..
I stared at Emma for a bit, and put my arm around her shoulder, leaning in to whisper something.
...
"Alright, excuse us guys." She smiled and stood up, same goes with me.
"O-oh okay?" Don stated, half-confused of what's going on.
"Where are you two going?"
Both of us turned our heads towards Norman. The guy just emphasized every word he said, still having a calm facade but the way he spat out his words says otherwise.
"Ooh, Emma and I will be back in a bit. I asked her if she wants to come with me outside. " I gestured, having a false smile plastered on my face.
"Okay."
As soon as we got out, both of us sighed.

Not having the two around,Gilda, Don, Norman and Anna went silent. They were a bit bothered by their weird actions and some sort of awkwardness is present.
"U-uh hehe. Come with me for a bit, I'll order another cake for my mom!"
Don stated awkwardly, pulling Gilda along with him without even giving her any chance to say something.
Now, what we have left is Anna and Norman. She smiled a bit out of nowhere, and touch the tips of her braids. Norman, on the other hand was very quiet, silently hoping for any of his friends to show up anytime soon.
'I never thought bringing her is a bad idea.'
"So, that's the girl Cislo and others are talking about?" Her soft voice reached Norman's ears, he just nodded in return, not saying anything else.
"She looks like a brave woman. Pretty too. No wonder why you like her." Anna stated once again. His lips slightly opened, about to say something but chose not to.
'He didn't even deny that he likes her.'
She thought and smiled bitterly.
"Anna, I brought you here because you said you wanted to see Ray and the others. Why does it seems like you did that just to observe Emma?" He asked, his platinum eyebrow raising a bit.
"I'm sorry Norman."
"Anna.. I already told you what's going on with us, right?" He stated gently, catching her eyes.
"We're back."
Both were startled, but Norman managed to maintain his chill expression and looked back at the two.
"Emma.."
