Chapter 14
Change
Everything went back to normal.
Jackson just... greeted me back. Everyday. Every minute.
But, I would be lying to myself.
He's different from my other friends. He's just so weird and annoying, but I admit that I like him just the way he is.
And he never brought the kiss. It's as if it did not exist.
Because it made insane.
"O, ayan," aniya sabay bigay sa puting torso sa 'kin.
I received it with a grumpy face.
He messaged me yestersay if I would love to come with him, and I agreed.
"Seriously?" I said with sarcasm.
"Oo, seryoso. Sige na, isuot mo na 'yan."
"Ayoko nga! It's so hot and heavy. At saka, I'm not into fencing—hey!"
"I'm not maingay!" I exclaimed. "And yucks, this must be used."
"Bago kaya 'yan."
I frustratingly sighed and put the equipment on a bench.
I thought it would be hot but it's actually not. I closed the zipper and tied my hair.
I even sniffed it, but it's odor-free.
I looked ugly.
Kumatok siya sa pinto. "O, ano nang ginagawa mo riyan? Lumabas ka na."
With a grumpy face, I opened the door. I immediately saw his sweet smile. He's already wearing his torso.
I pointed a finger at him.
It was a wide place. I heard it's also a place for arnis players. I stared at my reflection on the wide mirror.
"I look like an astronaut," I said.
He laughed and stood beside me. "Ang cute mo nga, eh."
I could feel my cheeks heating up but I only rolled my eyes as I stare at him through the mirror. "Ang daming sinasabi."
He handed me the weapon.
"Woah, it's heavy," sabi ko.
"That's the Epee. Mabigat talaga 'yan."
"Do you love fencing?" I asked out of the blue.
Natigil siya at nag-isip. That gave me time to notice how he looked really good in that suit. He looked cool and handsome. Parang meant to be talaga siyang magsuot ng torso.
