Part 19 - After the Party

I woke up to the sound of a door closing.

It was the worst morning I've ever experienced. Not only did I feel dizzy and out of place, but faint memories of someone being next to me haunted my head and I felt a huge empty space in my bed.

With a few blurry blinks, I examined the rest of my room. Male bodies covered my floor, everyone sleeping tightly after an eventful night.

Fuck.
It took me a second to realize what had happened, as at first I thought I was only hungover due to drinking.

But then it hit me and I couldn't believe what I've done.

"Jesus Christ, Kaiye," I muttered to myself, pressing my fingers against my temple.
Jinx jumped onto the bed next to me and cuddled up next to my legs.

"What has this school done to me?" I thought to myself and looked at my hand. At least it wasn't shaking anymore.

"What time is it?" a raspy voice asked me.

I looked around the room and saw Zabini trying to keep his eyes open, his head slightly lifted off the ground.

I checked the clock on my desk, "12PM."

"Shit," he mumbled, before sitting up. He then proceeded to wake everyone up, "Snape said that he was going to come to our room around noon to have a talk with us," he explained to me.

"A talk?" I asked.

"No clue. Someone probably did something. He always assumes it's one of us."

"Well to be fair, it usually is," Crabbe said groggily, sitting up.

"Dude, I'm not even in your room," Pike whined as Zabini shook him.

"Still, maybe we should let Kaiye rest," Zabini said, standing up.

"Kaiye, am I not letting you rest by sleeping on your floor?" Pike asked, his hair flying in all sorts of directions due to the way he was sleeping. It was adorable.

"No, uhm.. you can even sleep in my bed, I'm going to get dressed either way."

"See?"

Zabini shot me a strange look, but I didn't think much of it as I stood up. The problem was, as soon as my legs touched the ground and I expected them to hold me up, they started wobbling and I fell back down onto the bed.

"Kaiye, are you okay?" Zabini immediately appeared by my side.

"Yeah, uh, I don't know what's going on..." I frowned.

"It's okay, your body is probably still going back to normal. How was last night for you?"

He squeezed parts of my legs, probably trying to get more blood flowing into them.

"It was good... I think?" I couldn't remember much of it.

"Sorry we didn't take more care of you. I think that this round of dica was just a bit stronger than usual, took us all out. But I think Malfoy looked after you, right?"

My heart dropped.

At the mention of his name, snippets of the night came flying back to my mind. I remembered him sitting on my bed, talking to me about something. What were we talking about?
I couldn't remember anything I said to him, but I felt like we talked for sure.
Shivers went up my spine as a cold feeling started lingering on my skin, but I couldn't confirm whether it was a part of my trip or reality.

Where was he?

"Kaiye?" Zabini snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah-! He... he talked me through, I was fine - I just fell asleep quickly."
