Evelyn's P.O.V
The house was filled with sweaty, clothes less people. And when I say clothes less, I mean girls wearing tiny dresses, and guys without their shirts on. It was my first high school party since I've been in here. Tyler's parents were out of town for their anniversary, and of course, Tyler wanted to throw a party without his parents permission. The bonus? Tyler didn't live around any other houses, or near stores. He lived in the country side. Where there was barely anybody around.
It was a very typical high school party. Thrown on a Friday night, with large amounts of people. Tyler was a popular kid, which means anybody who's anybody came to the party. Tyler was also wealthy, which is why he has a huge house. His dad does own the same real estate agent that my mom works at.
Anyway, Lily and I were fighting and pushing our way through the living room, trying to get to the backyard part.
"This is ridiculous!" Lily screamed, her voice barely heard over the pounding music. A guy let out a low whistle as I pushed past him. Rolling my eyes at the drunk, I grabbed Lilys wrist and pulled her along with me as I picked up my pace. God, this was so irritating. All these people grinding together as we tried to fight our way through.
Once we had successfully made it, I glanced around, looking for Blake who said he'd be in the backyard. Lily groaned from beside me. "Ugh, of course Dylan is going to be here. Do I look alright?" She worried, turning to face me.
"Where's Dylan at?" I asked, not really paying attention to Lily. I figured that wherever Dylan was, Blake would most likely be with him. She pointed to a person who was preparing to plunge into the pool.
"Right there." She laughed at Dylan's cannonball. I looked for signs of Blake anywhere near him, but frowned when I didn't see him.
"Do I look okay?" Lily repeated again. I glanced over her outfit.
"Gorgeous." I stated. She had on a pink plaid shirt, with dark jean shorts. Her blonde hair, was swept into a classy ponytail.
"Thanks, and you don't look too bad yourself." She winked. I looked down at my outfit choice. I was just wearing a black tank top with white jean shorts. Nothing special.
"Want to go get a drink?" Lily asked me. I shrugged, guess I would just see Blake later.
"Sure." I muttered.
No, I don't really drink. But as Lily pulled out a beer from the cooler, I scrunched up my nose.
"I'm guessing you don't drink?" She chuckled as she saw my face.
I shook my head. "Stuff is nasty." I pointed to the beer. Lily shrugged, and began to open the beer when Tyler came up to us.
"Heyyyy ladies!" He slurred. I scrunched up my nose at him.
"Go away Tyler." I demanded.
"Nope, I'm staying right here." He leaned on the counter. The music, seemed to get louder as some idiot turned it up full blast.
"Whatever, do you know where Blake is?" I strained my voice, trying to talk loud.
"He's right there." Tyler pointed behind me to where the dance floor was. I looked in the direction that he pointed and saw Blake. With some girl. A gasp came from my lips.
"Is something wrong?" Tyler came and blocked my view. A frown was plastered on his worried face.
"Uh, no. I'm fine..." I trailed off, trying to look around Tyler.
He shrugged. "Mm K. I'll be around here somewhere if you need me. Bye.." Then in my ear he whispered "Cutie." I pushed him away, and looked at Lily.
