The talk with Dumbledore was long and emotional. He reassured me to feel safe within the walls and inform him of any new dreams. Dumbledore was quiet about the entire situation but sitting in a tense position as if he expected the worst was yet to come. So much had happened and it wasn't even the end of the week yet.

He instructed me to visit the hospital wing and get my head checked than report back to him so I can change my schedule and classes. I was no longer a first year. At the rate, I was learning, it was clear I could be joining the fifth-years in a short amount of time. This alarmed me as I knew the I would be seeing many Slytherins around my age in class with me.

After our visit with Professor Dumbledore, Hermione kindly offered to accompany me to the hospital wing. On the way there, we ran into Luna Lovegood and Hermione introduced me to her. To my surprise, she was not in Gryffindor, but in Ravenclaw. This was my first time ever speaking to someone who was not in Gryffindor or Slytherin.

"Hello," I said kindly as Luna gave a silent smile in return. She decided to accompany us to the hospital wing. She was slightly strange, but I immediately felt comfortable because she didn't judge me at all by my reputation or robe. The moment I entered the hospital wing though, I began to feel jittery with nervousness. Seeing our presence, Madam Pomfrey, approached us and Hermione sent me off to get checked by her.

According to the matron, my mind was strong and I was healing. The concussion was clearly still there as I was continuing to have headaches and sleep disturbances. There was no brain damage and it was possible I could continue to receive my memory back within a matter of time if I continued my improvement at this rate.

I remained confused. The only thing I could remember was my name and that I was a witch. A few other tests had been run to test my knowledge on classes that first through fourth years had to take. I excelled them all within a matter of time and also regained more and more memories of knowledge. As much as I regained these memories, I did not regain a single past moment or event that occurred in my life. I still had no clue who I was or where I came from. For all I know, it could be my birthday tomorrow.

After these hours worth of tests that practically fried my overworked brain, Dumbledore made the decision to place me in class with the Fifth-year students. This excited me as I would finally get to socialize with kids my own age yet freaked me out at the same time because it seemed the entire Slytherin house hated me.

And after another very long, long tiring day and sitting quietly through dinner, I finally made it to bed and examined my brand new schedule. Millicent, Pansy, Daphne, and Tracey did not utter a word to me as they climbed into their own four poster beds and began chatting with each other.

A few hours later, we heard the Head Girl yell "lights out" and Pansy shut off the lights immediately. I shoved my wand deep under my pillow case and pulled the duvet up to my chin afraid to fall asleep again. I decided to keep my eyelids open as long as I possibly can. When I began to hear the faint snores of the girls, I silently grabbed my pillow and night slippers then tiptoed downstairs to the common room.

As much as I knew that camping in the common room could get me in trouble, I was afraid I might hurt the girls in my sleep again. So maybe getting these nightmares under control in a space where I was alone, would be much safer. I just hoped this one would not involve screams.

"Lumos," I whispered the moment my feet hit the floor to the common room. I silently walked over to the couch in front of the fireplace and dropped my pillow on it. I set my magical watch to an alarm to wake me up at 7:00 am before anyone could come down. Then as soon as my head hit the pillow, I fell into a deep slumber.
