"Terra, Terra." I felt a presence shaking me vigorously. "Terra wake up." I groaned and slapped at the air, stuffing my face in my pillow again. "Terra, wake UP!" the voice hissed again. I frowned and peeled one eye open to be met with the darkness. I expected Draco to be hovering over me with a good excuse for waking me when I realized he was still on the other makeshift bed across from me, snoring softly on his stomach.

With fear and suspicion, I peered around the tent, the dim lamp being my only source of light. And then I saw him. The boy. He seemed scared, worried, anything but calm. I fought for words, wondering if I should wake Draco to show him what I was seeing.

"He won't be able to see me, only you can." said the boy as he followed my gaze to stare at Draco.

"Tell me your name." I murmured. "Who are you? Why do you always show up in my dreams...or when I'm unconscious?" I pushed further and approached him. The boy didn't back away, in fact, he didn't seem afraid at all.

"My name is Lex." said the boy. "It means warrior."

"Warrior..." I stammered. "Are you a ghost?"

"No." Lex shook his head. "Your mother sent me, to watch over you. I've been watching you since you've woken up. I was there, but you couldn't see me."

"I don't understand."

"I used to watch over your mother, but she sent me to watch you for her instead. But I've come to inform you that your mother is in grave danger. It's taken me quite awhile to reach you again, find you and warn you."

"What's wrong with my mother?" I murmured with widened eyes. This was the first time since Dumbledore's memory that I had finally gotten another idea of how she was doing. But dread was all that filled my insides. The thoughts circling my mind began to sicken me. The possibilities were endless.

"She's been imprisoned since the day I ordered you to leave Hogwarts. She's been tortured continuously by the Dark Lord. Only I have been reviving her, keeping her safe, never leaving her side."

"Reviving her?" I yelled with terror. "What are you—"

"I'm an Angel." said Lex. I stopped speaking. "Sent to watch over your mother. She has been watching you through me."

"That's—that's impossible." I whispered. "How can we see you? I don't understand."

"Death sent me."

"Death?" I frowned with confusion.

"Have you heard of the Deathly Hallows?" asked Lex. I shook my head. Perhaps Mom may have mentioned it. It seemed familiar.

"No." I mumbled. "What is it?" Just then Draco stirred awake. I noticed Lex glance past me and I turned to follow his gaze. Draco was now sitting up, rubbing an eye.

"Terra?" he mumbled groggily. With sudden palpitations I glanced back to see that Lex had vanished.

"How is that possible?" I sucked in a breath. "Am I not unconscious right now?"

"What's going on?" he frowned as he flung his blanket to the side and made his way toward me. "What are you doing?"

"H-he was just here." I whispered as I glanced around the room. "Where did he go? I thought I was dreaming." My breath quickened. My mother was in trouble. And her Angel had just vanished into thin air.

"Who?"

"The-the boy—Lex—that's his name. He just told me my mother is in trouble and he said something about death... the deathly hallows I-I don't know what he was saying." The tears blurred my vision just as I felt the hyperventilation rise. Draco wrapped an arm protectively around the front of my shoulder and pulled me to his chest.
