i am so sorry in advance for this chapter):

..........

I sat in the stands with sweaty hands and trembling feet, tuning out the Hogwarts band playing in the next set of stands next to me. There were many things on my mind that were driving my stress levels at their max. The first, was that I would see Draco today. Well, hopefully. The second, was that I would see Draco today and also have to find a way to explain to him that the news of our relationship is no longer private. The third, was that I also had to spill the news of Tate Palmer, and I really was not looking forward to that. The fourth, was that I hadn't seen Draco in a solid 3 weeks and for some incredibly odd reason I felt an alarming sense of anxiety.

How was he? Was his father okay? Was he okay? How did he look? How did he feel? Had he changed at all these past few weeks? Was he going to finally tell me the reason for his absence? My heart felt like it was about to jump out of my chest. I didn't realize my shaky legs were beginning to get the best of me until I felt Ambretta reach over and slap my arm.

"I think I might hex your legs frozen if you keep shaking them up and down like that, Edwards. Why are you so nervous?"

My eyes flicked to her left hand that was comfortably intertwined with Zabini's hand as he sat on her left. I shrugged my shoulders.

"Is it because of Malfoy?" she asked. I nodded my head, unable to form any words in response. Ambretta sighed deeply as she let go of Zabini. "I know it's been 3 weeks, but you have to learn how to calm yourself down, Terra." I began to breathe with her until I noticed her change in name for me.

A small smile pulled at my lips. "What?" I said with a chuckle. Ambretta laughed with amazement.

"Okay, I didn't think that would actually work but look at that! I guess I've been so used to your last name, I never bothered going on first-name basis," she admitted.

I only continued to smile at her. "Okay, Sphinx." I nudged her lightly as she nudged me back playfully. I crinkled my nose. "Yeah, definitely not used to calling you by your last name."

As the stands filled with students, I gazed around, hoping to locate the familiar bright, platinum blonde locks of Draco Malfoy. But I was left saddened as I didn't see his face anywhere. The Hogwarts band quieted down as Dumbledore introduced the participants to the final task. The task was to locate the Triwizard Cup in a hedge maze.

My eyes focused on each participant from Harry, to Cedric, Fleur, and Victor Krum. They stood at their own entrances to the maze, ready to enter. Soon enough, the task began as I watched each participant enter the maze. We waited. I don't know how long it was, but we all eagerly waited for the Triwizard champion to arrive. I spent the time making conversation with the Slytherins around us, yet my feet continued to bounce up and down slightly.

Where was he? He said he would be here. He told me to wait.

"Are you okay?" Ambretta asked me with a worrisome expression. Her usual, playful smile had disappeared and she was watching me intently. I didn't even realize she was watching me this entire time until I glanced over to find her fully facing me. I shook my head 'no' as I bounced my leg up and down, hugging my arms to myself.

"I can't just sit here. It's driving me crazy." I chuckled, trying to mask the shakiness in my voice.

She placed her palm on top of my hands then winced slightly. "Your hands. They're freezing!"

I shrugged my shoulders to myself. "When are they not freezing?"

"You want to take a walk?" she asked.
