Nini's POV
My mom and I head to the diner since I have to head to school soon. I still don't know the reason on why her and luke aren't talking anymore so I ask her. "Hey mom why are you and luke not talking anymore". "Well we both got upset at each other, we were just mad we're fine". "Well what did he say what did you say?". "Nini please". "Well ok fine just answer me this, we're on are way to Luke's right?" "Right". "Ok and when we get there will we get in?" I ask her. "Oh of course we will get in" says my mom. "Will we get served?" I ask. "Yes!" ."Will we get coffee?". "Maybe" "refills?" "Eventually?" My mom says. "Free refills?"I ask . "In about a month". She says . "Nini, Luke and I have fought before we're friends don't worry we will talk again eventually". "Right eventually" I say. "Ok it's fine whatever we will go in he will be in his bad mood like always and yeah everything will be good". We start walking up to Luke's when we see a huge line outside his door. "Hey is there a line?" My mom asks. "Closed". Says are friend Kirk . "What!" Says my mom. "It's closed" Kirk says again. "Luke's is closed!" My mom says shocked. "Luke's is never closed!" I say. "I know." Kirk says. "Are you sure it's closed"asked my mom. "Well first I read the sign then tried the door but it didn't open". Kirk says. We looked at the sign. "Ah Well Luke's gone fishing"says my mom . "Well I think that's great"she says . "It is"I say . "He took a break because he needed it that's good". "No it's not I need food!"says Kirk . I knew exactly why like wasn't here I mean he never skips worked would never choose to go fishing over work. "Mom it's because-" "no it isn't"my mom says . "But he never-" "well he did now". My mom says . "But-"I start to say. "He just took a trip" my mom says . "It's because of the other night" I start to say again. "No it isn't" says my mom. "Even if it is, I'll go away everything will be fine". My mom tells me.

~ a couple hours pass~
I just remembered that EJ gets home today and I have to tell him about the car. So I wrote all that I have to say to him in a note. I will hand him the note and hopefully everything will be ok. I wait in front of his house and there I see his parents car pull up. I see him get out of the car. " hey" he says with a smile. "Hey" I say nervously. "What happened? What did you do to your arm?" He asks. "Here"I say handing him the note. "What is this?"he asks. "Just read it" I say. "Nini what's going on how did you hurt your arm!?" he asks. "It's all in the letter". "But-" "Read it" I say . He looks at the note. "Well I love you to?" "Ok now hold that for a minute". "Why?"he asks. "Just-". "Read ok"he says . He starts reading in his head. "What?" he says. "Keep going"I said disappointed . "What!" he says mad. "Turn it around"I say softly . He gives me an angry stare and turns the page. "What!" He yells out at me. "Go on you have like three more what's ahead of you " I say nervously and scared. "It gets better at the end" I say trying to hopefully cheer up the mood a bit. "I'll just stand here until you get there" I say softly. He looks mad . "Is he really gone?" He asks. I shake my head nervously. "Okay" he says. "You wanna stay for dinner?"he asks. "Huh" I say. "My moms making dinner you wanna stay". He says . "Umm ok"i say.
