Nini's POV
"Oh uh hey EJ" I say. "Hey" he said giving me a quick kiss. "Well i for to go to the grandparents house for dinner so have fun at the carnival you two". My mom says. "Wait nini doesn't have to go today?" Ej asks. "Oh no she doesn't!" My mom says.
~ a couple days later~
My mom and I are at Luke's. Turns out they made up I am not entirely sure on what happened and how they are back to friends but that doesn't matter. "Ugh i hate being sick!" My mom says. "I know". I turn around and see Ricky reading in the counter. Luke come and gives us are food when I here the diner door
Open. It's that curly haired girl Ricky is with. "Hey" I here her says to Ricky. "Hey"he replies . "So"she says. "One sec"says Ricky reading his book . "Ricky!" The curly haired girl says. "Relax, ok let's go out to the book store "he tell her . I guess I was starring for to long that we made eye contact real quick. I immediately look back down to my food. "Let's go"i here him say. "Okay"i hear the girl say . I grab my giant cup of coffee and take a large sip.

~next day~
Today is the first day of my senior year. I here my mom come into my room. "Today is the last first day of high school you're ever going to have!" My mom said sadly. "Your insane". I say. "I'm not insane, I'm just sentimental and your grown." My mom tells me. "I'm not grown.". "Yes you are and soon you'll be going off into the world". My mom says. "Not yet". I tell her. "But soon" she says sadly . "Also well as you leave i will forget to give you this so here". "What's this?" I say looking at the folded up paper my mom gave me. "It's your bill!". "Over the years I have added all of the things that you have cost me". "Oh boy".I say giving the paper back to her. Anyway today I will be speaking in front of the school since I have gotten the role of Vice President . "Oh and mom I invited grandma today." "Oh no why!" She asks. "You don't have to even talk to her ok". "Fine"my mom says. Paris and I give are speech and we then head to see first meeting. "Paris look we were supposed to have a student get to know me meeting and all you did was talk about are agenda". "So" she says. "We got donuts and and coffee and none of us touched them we were supposed to talk and bond together ".

Nini's POV
it's Friday and my mom and I just got back from having dinner at my grandparents house. "Alright Nini Can you go Ik the store real quick and grab what we need while I go to the other store". "Ok"I say . I've been grabbing stuff when I spot Ricky in the store and he's in the way. "Excuse me"I say. "Why the cold shoulder?" He asks. "No cold shoulder i just have to get some stuff". "Oh yeah you wanna get home before your food gets bad".he says. "My moms waiting for me"I say pushing past him. "How was Washington?" he asks running up to me . "Fine" i say. "Do anything interesting?" He asks. "Nope" i say running to another area of the store . "Okay". "What about you?"I ask him . " what about me?" He asks. "A thing interesting happen? This summer I mean?" I say quite sternly. "Nope". He says. "Really?". "Really." "So nothing happened this summer at all?" I ask again. "It was hot and two weeks ago there was a run on snow cones machine broke everyone went crazy ". He says . "I'm not talking about the snow cones". I tell him." "What are you talking about then?" He asks. "Nothing" I say sarcastically. I sigh. "Her names Gina." He says. "Well great. That's great. Really it's great." I say. "So I've hear". He said. "Well it is I say a little louder. "Are you upset about something?" He asks. "No". . "I mean me and Gina". He tells me. "What about you two!"I say annoyed . "I don't know it didn't exactly bring a smile to your face". He says. "Well I'm still freaked out about the snow cone machine". I lie. "Good"he says . "I could care less about you and Gina". I tell him. "Good". He says. "It just surprised me that's all" I say. "Why" he asks.. "because". "Because why?" He says. "Because of what happened at sookies wedding, so yeah me coming back and just seeing you with Gina just kind of threw me off for a sec!" I say upset . "I'm sorry did I hear from you at all this summer? did I miss the thousands of phone calls you made me or all of those letters you wrote to me ?" He says. "You kiss me and say not to say anything, very flattering by the way you go off to Washington. Then nothing. Then you come back all out out because I didn't sit around and wait for you like EJ would have done and what about EJ! Are you still with him? Cause last time I checked you were. Plus you two waking around the other day seemed to me like you're still pretty together!" He says. "When did you see us!?" I ask. "At that stupid summer town carnival thing". He says . "I'm surprised you say anything with Gina's face in your face!". "You didn't answer me!"he says . "About what!" I say. "Didn't you call me at all?" "No". "Did you send a letter?" "No". "Postcard?" "No. "A nice fruit basket". "Enough!" I exclaim. "Are you still with EJ?" "Come on Nini are you still with EJ yes or No?" "Yes I'm still with EJ!I yell out. "Glad to hear it."he says. "Glad to tell you". I say. "See you around here"says . "Whatever". "Right back at ya". He says disappearing into the night.
