Nini's POV
It was morning now and I just couldn't stop thinking about Ricky. I was worried. My mom was talking to me when she realized that I totally wasn't paying attention to her. "So I'm just wondering what your thinking about." My mom asks me. "I'm thinking about nothing." I lie. "Nothing ." My mom says. "Do you think he froze to death?" i ask worried. "No he wasn't sleeping here ." My mom says. "Oh." I say. "I'm sure Luke took care of it." My mom tells me.

Ricky's POV
i have to push my car since it wouldn't start. "I can just pay the 80 bucks and then your gone." My uncle says. "No I don't want your money." I say. "I'll pay 10!" Kirk says. "Hey how about more walking and less talking." I tell Kirk. I get the lady that fixed my car before to check it out. "Well?" I say. "Still looking." She says. "Whats the matter with it?" i ask. "I'm still looking."She says. "You've been circling that thing for the past 15 minutes, just tell me what's wrong with the car!" I say. "You need a carburetor." She says. "So how long until it's fixed." I ask. "Not sure." She says. "It has to be today, I have to get out of here!" I say. "Ok look I'll have it out here by tonight, go away and come back when we are closing." She tells me. "Fine." I say. "Oh and bring a lot of money because I am going to overcharge you then I have ever before ." She says. "I bet you say that to all the guys." I say. "On second thought maybe I'm closing early tonight." She says "I'm going." I say. I turn back and freeze when I see a girl with dark brown long wavy hair talking to someone. "That's not her." The lady says. "What?" i ask. "She cut her hair." She says. "Huh i don't know what your talking about." I lie. "Okay my mistake." She says.
Nini's POV
I walk into a nice cafe that we have in town. "Hi I would like a large coffee and a cherry danish please." I tell the lady in the counter. I walk to go sit down when I see Ricky on a table that I was going to. We make eye contact but immediately look away. "I'm leaving." He blurts out.

Carols POV
i see Luke's truck and go to talk to him when I see that it's his sister Lynn. "Oh hi sorry I thought you were Luke." I say. "Oh ahaha no I'm his sister Lynn." She says. She starts talking to me. "Oh and my kid when I was having trouble with him, did you ever meet Ricky?" She asks. "Oh, yeah I did." I say. "I tell you that bit was just so hard to handle with , I couldn't do a thing with him . I didn't know what to do so ." She says. "Luke fixed it." I say. "Well he tried, but I don't know maybe if I had sent Ricky sooner ahh I don't know but like he did what he could he always does. He's like my hero you know." She says.

Nini's POV
My mom and i later then meet up with a friend of heres. "Oh yeah well the whole town is buzzing about Ricky being back." Geez,that kid, man sneaking back Into town. Oh sorry Nini I am so sorry here I am going on about Ricky . "It's fine . I'm fine." I say. "She's fine." My mom says. "You sure? She asks. "Yes I'm sure." I say. "I actually saw him." I say. "Who Ricky?" My mom asks. "Yes." I say. "When?"my mom asks. "Today at the café." I say. "He went to the cafe?" my mom asks. "Whats happened?" my mom ask. "Well i went in he saw me and he left." I say. "No!" She says. "He said nothing!" my mom says. "No he said something, He said "I'm leaving." I say. "Uhh that was obvious." My mom says. "It was so weird. I mean he's the one who left and he's the one who didn't call and now he just gets up and walks like he's mad!" I say. "What does he have to be mad about." My mom says. "Exactly!"I say. "Well he'll be gone soon." My mom says. "Uh yeah I know he'll be gone soon." I say

Ricky's POV
i walk into Luke's and head upstairs when I open the door I see my mom and my uncle and a random dude. "I forgot something." I say softly. "Oh my gosh!this is freaky it's like fate ! Ricky did you know we were here I had no idea you were here and Well now look at us all together !" My mom says. "Todd this is my kid Ricky this is Todd!" She says. "Oh you'll stay for dinner!" She says. "I got to go check on my car and I'm not hungry ." I say. "Oh please just stay for a little while !" My mom says. I sigh and take a seat.
"Well I got to get going." I say. "Aww ok come back ok Ricky!" She says. My uncle followers me. "We got to do something about this!" my uncle says. "What do you mean?I say. "Todd we can't have him around!" My uncle says. "Well that's not out choice." I say. "What so you like this guy?" he say. "No i don't like any of the guys she dates." I say. "Then Lets tell her!" My uncle says. "She doesn't care about what we think, she really doesn't care what I think . I've got 19 years of proof to back me up ." I say. "Well then we just will tell her anyway!" my uncle says. "Can I go now." I say. "No we can fix This." He says. "We can't ." I say walking away.

Nini's POV
I'm at the book story when I turn to see Ricky with a book near a shelf. We make eye contact again. Awkward. He immediately walks out .

Ricky's POV
Its night time now , and my car is now working. I'm about to leave when I see Nini. I head to walk up to her. "I get to leave first!" She yells out. "Nini wait stop!" i say Chasing her. "No you don't get to walk away !" She says. "Hold on!" i say chasing her. "I leave!" She says. "I just wanna- where you going?" i ask still chasing her. "None of your business!" She says. "We look like idiots!" I say. "I don't care!" She says. "Stop running!" I say. "Stop following me!" She says. "Oh come on!" I say. "Go away I'm leaving!" She says. "Nini stop!" I say. "Why?" She asks. "Because i want to talk to you!" I say. "About what!" She says stopping. We are now face to face. "What do you Wanna talk to me about?" She asks. "When did you learn to run like that?" i say. "You know I have thought about this moment a lot . What would Ricky say to me if I ever saw him again? I mean he just took off no note, no call, nothing. How can he explain and then a year goes by no word nothing! So he couldn't possibly have a good excuse for that, right? I have Imagined hundreds of different scenarios with a hundred different great last parting lines and I have to say that I am actually really curious to see which way this is going to go " she says. "Could we sit down?" I ask. "No! You wanted to talk so talk what do you have to say to me " She says. I sigh. "I love you." I say.
Nini's POV
I just stand there confused and angry . He then gets in his car driving off leaving me confused in my thoughts.
