Luke's POV
I notice a car parked near the diner and Ricky was working on it so I assumed it was his but how did he get it? "So you got a car?" I ask Ricky. "Yeah I mean it's not the best but it will help me go to places".he reply's. "Well I guess it will get you around, but where did you get the money for it ?" "It didn't cost that much". "Ricky." "What's not much?" I ask. "Less than a lot". Ricky says. "But I don't pay you enough to have you afford a car". I tell him. "Yeah but I saved up some money and look now I have a car". "I can fix most of this car myself anyway it does need some work". "Fine".
~next day~
Nini's POV
Today's the day!! Tomorrow is the 24th dance marathon. Basically we all have to get up really early in the morning and the last one left to dance wins. Obviously my mom and I are doing it and most of town. The only thing my mom is worrying about is on who is going to be her partner. EJ is supposed to be my partner but my mom has been begging me to be her partner. "Nini please". "But I told EJ that we were goin to go together". "Please I don't want to be stuck with Kirk!" My mom says. "Fine but I need to call Paris and see if she can reschedule are project and if she says yes then fine I will be your partner!" I tell my mom. "Ohh thank you!" My mom hugs me. "Hello big fancy trophy!"my mom says. "I heard that!" I yell out.
~next day~
"Ughh it's to early". "Yes I know it's a tad early". My eyes are closed and my head was leaning against my Moms shoulder . "No sun" i mumble . "Yup he's not up yet". This competition stars at 6:00 am so we have to be there a bit earlier then it says I meant it's 5:30 am. "I can't even open my eyes". I say. "That's ok." . I finally open my eyes and my mom and I head to grab are tickets. "Hey girls!" "Good morning". "Can I like sleep on the table please". I ask . "Not an early bird huh". Asked Ms. Jenn. "I just need to put some coffee in her and then she'll be good" my mom says. I nod my head. "I need coffee!" I tell my mom. We grab are tickets and starts to head inside. "Hey wait up". "Oh hey sookie!" My mom says. "I'm going to go talk to Kourtney". "Ok be quick tho"my mom tells me.. "hey Kourt!" . "Oh hey Nini my mom and I made sandwiches and are in charge to hand them out". "Oh ok well then I'll see you later". I say. I run out to find my mom. "Hello everyone welcome to the 24th dance marathon your partner and you must be dancing at all times if you stop them your out!" Says the host Taylor . "The only time you can stop is when you hear the horn when you hear that it means that you have ten minutes to grab a snack or take a break !" He says. We see Luke with a big tin full of coffee. We run over to him. "Can you load me a cup full of coffee please my mom"asks . "It isn't ready yet." He says. "Please." I ask. "Mommy". "What do you mean it's not ready it's six in the morning we need coffee ". "Fine but you did not get this from me"he says handing us cups.
