Nini's POV
I'm graduating on Wednesday. Wow I can't believe I'm saying this. My mom and I are currently eating at Luke's. "So your graduation is on Wednesday at 4:00?" He asks. "Yeah, you really don't have to come if you don't want to." I say. "No i want to , I feel like I've been through your whole East high things with you." He says. "Okay good. I want you there." I say with a smile. Class pictures are today and Paris is not having it. "How long did they need to take it's just a picture!" She says. "Paris just be paciente." I say.

~time skip to Wednesday~
Today's the day. I'm graduating. "Oh hi excuse me I'm looking for Nina Salazar Roberts." I hear a familiar voice says. "Mom." I say. "Wait go away I want to tell a lot of people that your graduating ." She says. "Oh mom well I got to get going!" I say. We are all in are seats and the ceremony has started . "Welcome to the East High Academy graduating class of 2020." Says are principal. Many propel have gone and already gotten up and have said there speech. "Now it's a distinct pleasure for me to introduce to you are valedictorian. This young lady was a second year transfer student from a modern high school . She is humble, hardworking, competitive when need be and unparalleled in her academic achievements . Ladies and gentlemen Nina (Salazar) Roberts. I head up to the podium. I look at my mom to see her crying. "Headmaster Charleston, facility members, fellow students, family and friends. Welcome. We never thought this day would come. It's hard to know that this day has come now that we all know that we will be leaving friends and the teachers that trained us. I live in two worlds. One is a world of books . I want to say that Gerold and Emily Salazar are kind and decent, generous people I am proud to be there grandchild. But my ultimate inspiration comes from my mom. My mother hadn't told me that I can't be what I want to be she told me that I should follow my dreams. She filled our house with love and fun and books and music. I don't think she knows how much of a role model she is to me. Thank you mom . I say crying with happy tears.

Carols POV
"We are not crying." I say with tears falling down my face. "No totally not." Sookie says. "We said we just can't be blubbering with tears." "Not you too luke." I say seeing that he has tears . "Hey I'm not crying I'm not blubbering." He says. "I want to get a close up picture since She about to get her diploma!" Sookie says. "Nina Salazar Roberts." We hear them say through the microphone. "This is it!" I say. "She's like a Salazar." Says my dad.

Nini's POV
"Congratulations Nini." Says my headmaster. "Thank you headmaster." I say. I make a funny face to my mom. She does is back.
Carols POV
"Carol really!" My mom says. "I taught her everything I know." I say. "Class of 2020 give yourself a hand." The headmaster says.
Nini's POV
I find my mom. "How was my speech!" i say. "It made everyone cry, including stone cold luke!" my mom says. "Luke you old softie!" i say. "Ah well I got to get going back to the diner." He says. "Thanks for coming luke!" I say. I give him a hug. My dads not here he got busy . But I'm really glad Luke's here. I head to my grandparents they give me hugs and tell me how great I was. "Well I think it's time to present Nini with her graduation gift ." My grandpa said. "Oh you guys didn't have to get me anything!" I say. "No no you deserve this!" "We are really excited about this one!" My grandma says . "Nini there is one gift it's the one with the bow!" He says. "Uh grandpa." I say. I look and see tones of cars with bows in the parking lot. "Oh for Pete's sake!" He says. "Well it was the only one there when I drove up." He says. "How was I supposed to know every one in East High was getting a car!" He says. "You got me a car!" i say shocked. "We got you a car." He says. "That amazing thank you!" I say. "Thank you which one is it?" I say hugging them. "Well thank you for your speech!" He says. "Aww of course." I say. I suddenly get a call in my phone . "Hello?" I say. "Hello?" I say again. I walk away fo my family. "Ricky is that you?." I say through the phone. "Ricky I am pretty sure it's you. I'm pretty sure that you've been calling non stop and not saying anything but want to say something! Hello?. You're not going to talk.fine. I'll talk. You didn't handle things right at all. You should have talked to me. You could've told me that you were having trouble with school and weren't going to graduate and that your dad had been there but you didn't, and we'll you didn't take me to prom and you didn't come to my graduation and leaving again without a goodbye again and that's fine I get it. But that's it for me, I'm leaving on vacation tomorrow and I'm going to Yale and I'm moving on. I think. I think I may have loved you but I just need to let it go. I say with tears starting to fall down my cheeks. "So that's it I guess, I hope your good, I want you to be good okay so goodbye. That word sounds really lame and stupid right now but there it is goodbye." I end the phone call. With tears coming down my face uncontrollably.

Ricky's POV
she ended the call. I take a breath and walk away. I guess that's the end of Nini and I.
