Lily Luna Potter Lost In Time

Emmeline Vance and Amelia Bones

"Hello, I'm Emmeline Vance," said a girl sitting next to Luna, " and this is my friend Amelia Bones, aren't you the new girl?"

"Yes, I'm Luna, Luna Parker," she replied.

The girl beamed at her and Luna smiled back. The girl had dark brown hair and chocolate brown eyes, she then turned to the other girl whom Emmeline had introduced as Amelia Bones, she had light brown hair and blue eyes.

Amelia smiled at her, " hi, I'm Amelia Bones, nice to meet you."

Luna smiled " Nice to meet you too."

"So, what year are you in?" asked Emmeline as she filled her plate with food.

Amelia rolled her eyes, "didn't you hear Professor Dumbledore's speech Em? She's in sixth year too." She then turned to Luna "we're in sixth year too, we could show you around Hogwarts tomorrow if you like, seeing as we don't have any classes," she offered kindly.

"Are you sure?" Asked Luna.

Amelia nodded and smiled.

"Well then, sure and thanks. It must be hard getting your way around the castle." Luna replied.

"Oh, yes it is hard for a month, but then you'll know your way around the castle as good as the back of your hand," said Emmeline.

"Oh, ok then thanks Emmeline," said Luna happily.

"You can call me Em, by the way, Emmeline is way too long." She said, "so, do you play quidditch?"

"Yes, seeker, do you two?" Asked Luna.

" Chaser," Em nodded, grinning proudly.

"Nah, I'm not interested in flying at all to be honest, I prefer to keep my feet on the ground," said Amelia. " I'd much rather be studying, I need to get enough NEWT's next year to become an auror. What do you want to do one you graduate? Em here wants to be a auror too."

"I want to be a healer," replied Luna.

"Oh, don't you need the same numbers of NEWT's to become an healer as much you need to become an author?" Asked Em.

Luna nodded.

" Ohh, we could study together then," said Amelia. "What's your favourite subject? Mine is charms."

"Transfiguration, yours?" She asked turning towards Emmeline.

"DADA," she replied.

Just then Dumbledore stood up, " now, off you trot."

"Come on let's go to our common room," said Em

"Where's the common room," asked Luna trying to look surprised.

"Oh, I forgot you didn't know." Said Em " sorry, come on."

"Look,there are the prefects they show the first years to the common room, but we'll show you," said Amelia.

"The Gryffindor prefects are Remus Lupin and Lily Evans," added Em pointing to where a redhead girl was visible with a sandy haired boy. "James Potter's been after Evans for years, but she always rejects him."

"Oh, so who others are in our year then?" Asked Luna.

"Well, there's James Potter, he's a chaser and really good at transfiguration, plus he's been asking Evans out ever since I can remember. Remus Lupin, prefect, he's good at most of the subjects except potions. Then there's Sirius Black, he's a player, plays with girls and then breakes their hearts, he's also the beater on the qudditch team and he never studies, but still gets full marks." Said Amelia.

"Then there are Peter Pettigrew and Frank Longbottom too, Peter's sort of quiet and follows Remus, James and Sirius around, they call themselves the marauders. And then there's Frank, he's a sweet boy, dating Alice Forestcue and he sucks at Transfiguration while he excels at Herbology," added Emmeline.

"Then there other four girls in our year, they're best friends, Lily Evans, Alice Forestcue, Mary McDonald and Marlene McKinnon," said Amelia.

"Evans is prefect and a kind girl too, she's also good at nearly all subjects. Then Alice is also a sweet, kind girl and can get a bit sensitive, she's dating Frank Longbottom and she's really good at charms. Then Mary is a quiet girl, but one you get to know her, she's really nice. And there's Marlene, she's a bit like a female Sirius if you ask me, a player and she's the third chaser, and loves sweets. And that's about everybody in our year," said Em.

"Look, there's the portrait hole," said Amelia suddenly, she then turned to Luna " you have to tell the fat lady the password and then she'll let you in."

As they came in front of it the painting asked, "password?"

"Phoenix tears," said Amelia confidently "I asked Lily while dinner," she added at Emmeline's questioning stare.

"Girls dormitory's are on the left," Em added helpfully.

As they entered the sixth year dormitory they saw that their stuff was already there.

"Night,then," said Em yawning.

"Night," the other two chorused.

And the three of them fell asleep, as soon as their head hit the pillow.
