Christmas passed in a daze and February had already started bringing them all the notice about apparition classes, which were to begin from the second week of the month. In the two months that had passed, Lily and James had become rather good friends, much to everyone's surprise.
As Luna headed down to breakfast, she met James in the common room.
"Hey, are you sure I should ask her out?" he asked.
Luna nodded. "I'm pretty sure. Plus, you two are already good friends now."
He seemed to consider it, then replied "I guess."
"Just don't make a big deal," Luna said rolling her eyes. "Just ask her in private. Maybe after breakfast?"
The two friends headed down to breakfast, where they were to meet their friends.
"Excuse me," they heard a voice behind them.
They turned around. There, a third year boy with brown hair and startlingly blue eyes was standing nervously, with a piece of parchment in his hands.
"Er- Professor Dumbledore has asked me to give this to you," he said handing her the parchment.
Luna unfolded the parchment and read the latter quickly.
Dear Miss Parker,
I am glad to inform you that I have managed to acquire a time turner, which you shall be able to use to get back to your own timeline. I shall have it in my possession by next week. Please collect it from my office next weekend after the Hogsmeade trip.
Professor Dumbledore
As she read ot, her eyebrows raised in surprise.W
"What is it?" James asked.
"Oh, Professor Dumbledore just wanted to see how I'm doing with school," Luna said awkwardly.
"Oh," James said nodding. "Come on then, before everything's finished."
