Lily Luna Potter Lost In Time

Chapter 31

"Get lost, Potter!" Lily snapped probably for the hundredth time that day.

"But-" he started.

"No!" Lily yelled interrupting him, "I don't want to hear your apology, save it!"

She then stalked off, leaving a rather disappointed James behind.

"Maybe you should hear him out?" Luna suggested tentatively.

"No, I mean, what is the reason for him to bully people?" Lily asked exasperated.

"Uh... About that," they heard a voice behind them.

They turned around to find Remus standing there, shuffling his feet uncomfortably.

"Er- James asked me to convey his message to you that, um- he wants to explain that to you but you won't listen to him-"

"Well of course I wouldn't," Lily said angrily.

"And," Remus continued as thought he hadn't just been interrupted. "He also wants me to tell you that he will explain it to you if you could come to the Astronomy Tower at 11:00 pm and, that he'd be waiting for you there. Even if you decide to come or not."

"That's a rather long message," Lily said impatiently.

"I know," Remus replied exasperatedly. "Oh, and that he hopes you'll come and, also sends his sincere apologies."

"Right," Lily said skeptically.

Remus looked unsure on what to say.

"Um... So, I'll go then?" He asked hesitantly.

"Sure."

Once Remus was gone, Lily turned to Luna.

"Do you think I should go?" She asked.

"I think you should," Luna replied.

"Are you sure?" Lily asked looking doubtful.

"I just gave you my opinion," Luna replied shrugging.

"I can't decide," Lily said dryly.

"You should at least give him a chance to explain and then, decide whether to forgive him or not."

"I suppose," Lily said slowly still looking skeptical.

"OK- OK, fine," she said. "One last chance."

"OK great!" Luna replied brightly. "Come on then, let's go have dinner."

After dinner Luna cornered James.

"Hey Luna!" He said.

"Hi."

"Is Lily going to come?" He asked eagerly.

"Yes she is. Also, do act mature."

"I'll try my best," he replied sounding worried.

"OK..."
