~In King Jules' castle~ (The next afternoon)

"And there I was...with a fleet of knights standing beside me...staring into the eyes of the forbidden caves. We moved ever so cautiously, looking around every rock and boulder until finally, we made it inside." King Jules says chomping down a mutton leg as he tells his tale to his wife and two kids.

Queen Aleena is eloquently enjoying her meal while Sonia and Manic are slouched in their seats listening to their father. "The air was thick and chilly. Nothing but our determination to keep us warm. As we journeyed on...there she was. Piles and piles of gold and jewels. Bigger than your mother's breastplate that's for sure."

Jules lets out a hearty laugh making Sonia and Manic groan very loudly. After his laughter settles, he slams his fists on the table, "But before we were able to take the glorious treasure- BAM!" "BAM!" Sonic says with his father jumping on to the dinner table, swinging his sword around.

"There he was! Merek the sorcerer." Jules frowns at him, folding his arms as Sonic slashes his sword in the air. "The sorcerer creates a thick cloud of smoke and the knights charge forth. Unknown to them, the sorcerer's abilities have become stronger over the years, proving too much for the knights."

Sonia and Manic start smiling at their brother and lean closer, becoming very interested in his version of the story. Sonic smiles back at them, "BUT...due to the brave and cunning nature of our dear father, he was able to go toe to toe with the sorcerer. And with one slash of his blade," Sonic does a hard slash move in the air and puts his head down, "He was able to cut out his eye." He picks up a meatball from Manic's plate and holds it high in the air.

Sonia gasps, "What happens next?" Sonic quickly snapped his attention to his sister and he smirked, "I'm pleased you asked. For our story does not end there...with the last of the sorcerer's strength he was able to shoot an arrow..." Sonic pretends to aim a bow and shoots a pretend arrow, "...Right into father's knee."

Manic's eyes widen, "In his knee?" Sonic nods at him, "Aye...in his knee." Sonic smiles as he jumps off the table grabbing an apple, and sits in his seat, "And father and the knights were able to stumble away to tell the tale today. The end." Sonic concluded then took a big bite out of his apple.

The royal family claps and Jules chuckles, "Or in this case, my son is able to tell the tale. With such fine details, I may add." "Well, I thought it best we add a little excitement to your tales."

Jules raises an eyebrow at him, "I question why you seemed to have forgotten the important part where the jewels and gold we found are the ones that were forged to make your new crown." Sonic frowns, "I have not forgotten, I just simply deemed it irrelevant." Jules gasps, "Heavens, boy. You watch your tongue! Do you know the hell I went through to get the very best for our future king? There's a lot more to the story than what you've explained."

Sonic rolls his eyes as his father began to ramble. He looks out the window and sees a sword mysteriously twirling in the air, causing him to smile. He quickly chugs his wine and takes a bite of his mutton leg, "Oh wow, great talk, gotta go, bye!" He says with his mouth full as he grabs his sword and some food, then quickly dashes out.
