When swim practice was over I went to find Grover. I found him outside near the parking lot, asleep in his hammock. I took out my phone to start recording.

I slowly walked over to him.

"G-man!" I shouted to wake him up and he tumbled out of hammock.

"Ahhhrg!" I zoomed in on his face "Not funny." he grumbled, while I laughed my butt off. I sent it to the boys snapchat group, but not before I saved it.

I helped him up and we took down his hammock together. It was a neat present his dad had given him for Christmas one year. You could roll up and it would fit into a backpack, he never went anywhere without it.

When we got in the car Grover told me he wanted to go to this new coffee shop that only used recycled paper products. I told him to plug it into the navigation. We talked about school, he told me about his last Green Team meeting, I talked about how excited I was for the Rome trip.

"You know, I would lecture you on how traveling commercially and tourism in general puts enormous stress on local land use, and can lead to soil erosion, increased pollution, natural habitat loss, and places an insane amount of pressure on endangered species, BUT for your sake, I won't." Grover said in about two breaths.

"Thank you so much for not lecturing me, I really appreciate it." I said sarcastically.

We laughed and I parked the car.

"Wait till I told you what Annabeth said to me in study hall today." I told him as we got out and walked towards the door. It was a cool place, the inside of it looked like a tree house. There was one painted in the far corner that was massive and eventually the branches became 3D and leaves dangled from the ceiling. As far as architecture goes, Annabeth would totally dig this.

I took a snapchat and started sending it to her as we walked up to the counter. I was going to let Grover order for us, a chai tea for him and hot chocolate for me, until I saw who was at the register.

"Rachel!" She looked cute in her yellow apron and her hair up.

"Long time no see" She smiled at me.

"Hey Rachel, I didn't know you worked here." Grover pointed out.

"Yeah, I started working here about a week ago, when I moved here." She explained to us.

"I read about this place on someone's blog, I can't wait to try the chai tea latte." Grover said excitedly. Rachel scribbled his order on the cup along with his name.

"Do you want a second cup of what you tried this morning?" She asked me.

"No way, it was delicious but if I had another I probably wouldn't sleep." She smiled. "I'll have a hot chocolate though, thanks." she nodded and I noticed she double cupped my order.

I started to pull out my wallet. "It's on me today gentleman" she told us.

"Rachel, you don't have to-"

"It's the least I can do for letting you walk around with your sweatshirt on like that today." She told me. At least she felt a little sorry.

"You make a good point." I said

Grover and I made our way to a table near the window.

"Dude, maybe she is a good luck charm." He said when we sat down.

I laughed "Maybe."

"Okay, okay, tell me what Annabeth told you in 6th period." He said.

"Well, first she called me an idiot" I recalled.
