In science, we were supposed to be working on the chapter vocab for next week's quiz, but really we were talking about our plans for the weekend.

"Have any of you been to that museum off of 72nd avenue?" Jason asked.

"Is that the one with the architecture exhibit?" I asked him. He nodded.

"Yeah, Annabeth and I have been there a few times, usually whenever they have a new addition. They feature an architect there that she loves." I told him. I thought of the last time we had been there, was it last spring? Had to have been, she was wearing her yellow skirt and she only wore that in springtime.

Jason leaned forward. "Okay I'm thinking of taking Piper there on Saturday. You know, spice it up a little. We spend way too much time at the mall." He said.

"You should thank her, man." Leo said "Before you two were dating, you dressed like a GAP kids model."

Frank and I laughed.

"Remember when I wore cargo shorts to school freshman year and Piper never let me forget it?" Jason recalled.

"Well, that's on you for wearing cargo shorts." I told him.

He nodded at me. I thought about how I avoided his question earlier today, really I was hoping he had forgotten about it. Even though I couldn't seem to.

I looked towards Grover, his shoulders were hunched and he was biting his nails.

"G-man, we only have so much time left in class..." I reminded him. "Are you gonna ask her or what?"

"I know, okay?" He grumbled at me.

I cracked my knuckles, Grover was in need of a serious pep talk.  "Dude, you are THE MAN, you are Grover FREAKIN Underwood. You're an environmental advocate, a hero for the underdogs, you, my tree hugging friend, are the best thing that's ever happened to her."

Jason nodded, "He's right man. You know, you don't need to fake confidence like someone else I know." he elbowed Leo, and Leo elbowed him back."You're the real deal." he finished.

Grover rolled his eyes "Why does it sound like you guys are the ones about to ask me out?" He said.

Leo put his hands on table. "Alright, you've got thirty seconds to go over there and ask her," Leo said matter of factly.

"Or what?" Grover asked, his eyebrows raised.

Leo grinned "Or I'm going to."

Frank, Jason and I ooohed in chorus.

Grover gaped "You wouldn't." He said.

Leo smacked his lips "You know, I never really noticed how pretty Juniper looks today," He started to stand up.

Grover put his hand on his shoulder and forced him into his seat.

Leo smiled "You're down to 15 seconds."

"Okay! I'm going." He sighed.

"C'mon G-man." I whispered.

He stood up and started to walk over there. We watched, intently.

Frank whispered "You weren't really going to do it, were you?" he asked Leo.

"Nah dude, I need a girl who's into American Muscle and Tom Petty, not someone who doesn't use regular deodorant." Leo whispered back. "Not that those girls aren't nice, and pretty and cool," he shrugged "they're just more Grover's type." He finished.
