"So, Annabeth is going to Rome." Grover mused, leaning against the locker next to mine. First period had just ended, and since Grover's class was close by he was hanging out with me for a minute. I had even let him eat the rest of the banana I had left in my locker this morning.

"Yep." I told him, bringing out my history notebook for next period.

Grover chewed as he spoke, "How do we feel about that?" he asked me.

I gave him a look "I'm happy for her, why wouldn't I be?" I answered simply.

Grover hummed "Happy to spend seven hours on a plane with her? Uninterrupted time together?" He prodded.

I shut my locker loudly.

"Leave it Grover." I said sternly, giving him my most serious face.

Grover put a hand up in surrender "Geez, alright." he said. "Hey wanna hangout today? After Green Team and practice lets out?" Grover asked.

"Yeah, I updated counterstrike last night, wanna play?"

"Sure, meet me in the courtyard? And try not to flip my hammock this time?!" He complained.

I laughed, "I mean I'll try." I joked, pulling my earphones out of my pocket as I prepared for my walk to history.

Grover rolled his eyes "You're a menace, Percy Jackson."

I started to walk away, turning for a moment to answer him "And don't you forget it!" I called back to him.

Annabeth

Leo and I were talking about what we had chosen to do for our Latin projects when Percy sauntered in. Earphones in, a graphic t-shirt, and those ripped jeans that hung low enough you could see just the rim of his boxers when he lifted the strap of his messenger bag up off his shoulder.

I smiled at just the sight of him, my nerves firing up as he sat down next to me.

"You know, you could try for just like two seconds to turn off Mr. Cool and be human like the rest of us if you wanted to." Leo said snarkily, flopping his hands up dramatically. His comment made me feel better, like I wasn't the only one who realized just how good looking he was while he was doing something as simple as walking into class.

"You could just turn around." Percy laughed.

"We were talking about the latin project." I offered, wanting to participate but not wanting to comment on the conversation at hand.

Leo nodded "Pantheons pretty cool and everything, but Reyna and I are doing Nero Drusus, sick warlord, very bloody battles. So awesome." Leo rattled off.

"I don't think he was called a warlord, Leo." I said skeptically, but laughing nonetheless at his eagerness.

Leo nodded, "Yeah, Reyna says I should stop calling him that too, but whatever. Guy's a maniac, killed tons of people!" He told us excitedly.

"And that's a good thing?" Percy asked, laughing. "Also, I thought Rachel was Reyna's partner?"

Leo tossed a hand up dismissively, "Negotiations were made, partnerships were broken, anyway that part doesn't matter. Obviously I don't condone murder, but we can set aside our morals and discuss an absolute baller of a Roman general, right?" he said, doing his best to convince us.

Percy and I laughed, enjoying Leo's antics as the bell rung and our teacher started his lecture.

When lecture was in full swing, I ventured a look over at Percy.
