'Well I... I went to someone's house, a...em...friend. I snooped around a little, touching stuff and being...em... overly curious I guess. So while I was snooping around, I did not know that I_ I had some powdered drugs on my fingers. So I touched my face with it and got...em..kinda high.' I said. Everyone was laughing through the story even Caldwell who, in a way, did know what was going to happen.
The bottle was spun again and a boy was dared to kiss a girl three years older than him. Inability to do a dare had a penalty. The party was getting more fun with every passing minute. Then there was this time it landed on Jarvis and a girl who asked him who was the girl he was most attracted to at that moment.
'Anna.' He said, which surprised me and many other people, I thought but everyone agreed it was understandable. I blushed for a minute and hoped there was jealousy in Caldwell.
'I dare you to ask Anna when last she was insulted.' Lucie told the boy who looked helplessly at me. I was way too excited to feel bad.
'That's rude Lucie.' Jarvis said in my defense but I wanted this game to keep going with no awkwardness.
'That's okay. I was kinda sexually insulted by a drunk guy here and_'
'It's called flirting spoony.' Lucie interrupted. There would be no negative vibes so I just ignored her.
'My brother and I_' I said before noticing how interested everyone looked.
     'Andre!' A girl squealed.
'Ye_yes. So we were walking on the street and em.. this guy on a skateboard stares at us for a while and says "mixed kids, lucky you got white blood flowing in you. Too bad it changes nothing." I said sending a roar of laughter.
'That is rude. Stupid racist. Did your brother get back at him?' A boy asked. 'You know like he got at Lucie.' Everyone laughed. Lucie did not find it funny.
'He skated away.' I said. I loved this party so much!
We had more dares and so many humiliating truths. I was even dared to go all mad at an innocent and  clueless boy.
'I dare you to kiss the smartest person here.' A girl was dared. She walked up to me, but I was not down for a kiss from anyone tonight, especially not from a girl!
'Then pay a hundred dollars.' Lucie said. They all started chanting, Pay it! Pay it! So I paid it which was quite the surprise for some reason.
'Whatever.' Lucie said blowing air at her nails. The game made me feel normal and accepted, I did not think anything would make me want to leave until Caldwell began kissing Lucie.
                      **********
His dare was simple and in anyway he could have avoided it but it was obviously what he wanted. Caldwell was dared to do what he badly wanted to do at the party but could not. He could want to have beer, why did he not? He chose to kiss Lucie who was happy, very happy with his decision.
'I wanted to do that, but I still don't like you.' He said. He did not even look at his date once but kept acting so guilty and pressured when he was not. I began feeling so uncomfortable and invisible. Caldwell and Lucie began staring at each other and Lucie was giving my date sweet eyes. I wanted to cry.
I did not want to stay anymore and  felt unaccepted and very uncomfortable but no one regarded I could be hurt. I did not want to look like I was leaving because of the kiss, so I left after two rounds. I stood up to go as Jarvis was being given his own dare.
'Wait Anna.' He came to me away from where the others in the circle were looking at us.
'So I was dared to kiss a cute nerd, no offense, so...' Jarvis in fact looked so shy, it was cute but I did not want any kisses.
'I could give it on your cheek.' Jarvis said. He was going to but I saw Caldwell was still staring at Lucie. I got really mad and drew Jarvis's lips from my cheek to my lips. There was cheering and a huge applause while Caldwell looked dumbfounded. Jarvis looked so happy but I walked out, of his party.
                   ***********
I pulled Andre out of the little room he was with Jenna in and it made him angry.
'What?' He asked shaking my hand off him.
'I wanna go home.' I said.
'I thought you loved it here.'
'I wanna go home please. I don't like it here.'
'You can't be serious. Now you're gonna go sit your ass down in that little__'
'I will be doing the threatening here Andre. We are going home or I'll call mum to come get me.' I said in a commanding tone.
Andre kept looking inside where Jenna stood waiting for him with an angry look on her face.
       'I'm so sorry.' He mouthed.
Jenna walked back inside in anger. Andre got over it before we reached home. Dad was home and things weren't looking up again.
They were acting strangely, avoiding each other like before. Mom looked at Andre and I in pity and hugged us. She was scared again. Dad just ignored how sad she looked and welcomed Andre and I. Andre ignored him as usual while I went to my room.
The shouting started in the middle of the night with so much curse words which was the only words I could hear well. Mom and Dad was arguing again.
Minutes after their argument, mom came to my room. I pretended to be asleep so she freely cried.
'You will always be with me. We'll get out of this.' She said kissing my forehead, then I remembered Lucie and Caldwell's kiss. They both wanted it so bad it had shun in their eyes, they were probably still there, in the room Andre and Jenna were in.
