'Andre if she asks for a kiss, you'ld give her right?' I asked. Molly choked on her food then. Andre drank the whole drink in his glass.
'You said nothing about that!' Molly said.
'She asked for it last time, she'll definitely ask for it now.' I said.
'Well your Shelly's got some issues if she's planning on kissing my baby.' Molly said holding tight to Andre.
'Molly so many girls are planning on kissing your babe. Deal with it, even Jenna could not stop every girl.' I said. Andre stopped biting at his donut on hearing Jenna's name. His countenance suddenly changed and it was my fault.
         'I'm sorry.' I said.
'Jenna could stop everything, even my rage.' Andre said bending his head. I thought he was going to cry and me and Molly felt clueless on how to make him better.
'There's nothing hard in stopping that. I just need your lips...' Molly brought his face to face her and she gave him a long kiss. 'Still angry?' Molly asked. Andre nodded with puppy eyes. Did this mean he agreed to kiss Shelly?
                 ************
We arrived home very cheerfully discussing about my group. Andre called us lame but Molly thought we were actually progressive.
Andre opened the door to the house which was not locked.
'Dad!' I shouted at what I was seeing. Andre and I stared in horror at the scene. What the fuck!
There was my father with his hand in the air with a glass vase and my mother on the floor using her arms as protection over her head.
          'Dad!' I screamed again.
Andre went for my father with so much force, hitting Dad's back hard against the wall.
'Andre no, Molly's here. Stop!' Mom said trying to release my brother's grip. I was still very shocked and even Molly was petrified, staring at my father she met for the first time in a compromising position. Andre finally let go of Dad and began to examine mom worriedly. Dad left the house without a word after he and Molly stared each other in the eyes for a long time.
Molly was still scared like I was; we all were. I don't know why I was scared. My dad has never been a threat. Molly ran out of the house without any sign she was going to react that fast. Andre went after her and so did Mom and I.
'Molly. Talk to me.' Andre said trying to stop her from walking so fast. Mom and I watched from the porch not sure if it was the assault that frightened her or something else.
'A-–Andre. Who...who is that man to–to you?' Molly asked with flickering frightened eyes.
'He's nobody.' Andre said trying hard to soothe her but Molly got angry and pushed him.
'Who the fuck is that man to you!'
'He's my father!' Andre said. Molly began shaking her head where her two hands were holding.
'No. No. No...' Molly was not herself. 'You lied to me!'
'No I just didn't tell you. Molly I know what you saw is crazy but I swear I don't know what's happening.' Andre tried explaining. My brother could not see his girlfriend trembling so much. Molly began to run again. Fast enough to make Andre forget about running after her. Andre looked back at my mum and I. I was scared for everything including the world itself.
                  *******
I got used to finger-dip very fast. I had gotten used to the way my brain reacted when I put it through my nostrils. I controlled the spin and the process in forgetting my worries. I controlled my emotions and avoided the pain it brought to feel. Finger-dip made me understand the drug buyers. It would take me on a journey to paradise and back.
Mom refused to tell us what happened between she and Dad and for the first time it was not Andre's main priority to find out. Andre was worried about Molly. They had not spoken for a week and Andre said she avoided him on campus. My poor brother experienced the worst of love. We thought they were through untill the call came.
'Hello, is this my sister's boyfriend?' A little voice said on the phone after Andre had put it on loudspeaker when he heard the caller crying.
'Yuri?' Andre said. It was Molly that called but Yuri, Molly's sister was the one talking.
'My sister is not moving.' She said in between sobs.
         'What! Yuri where are you?'
'I'm home. Molly's not saying anything. Is she dead?' The poor girl kept crying.
'Yuri, are your parents home?' Andre said in hurry to leave already.
'No. Molly's on the floor. She's not doing anything.' The girl kept saying. Andre rushed to his car grabbing his car keys. I followed suit to Molly's house.
                        *********
I comforted Molly's twelve year old sister who was not still convinced her sister was not dead. Andre was not at ease as Molly was being examined. He was loosing patience and his cool. A girl around my age approached him quite starstruck.
'Can I have your autograph?' She said. Andre ignored her. She made to ask again but I intervened.
'Sorry he's really stressed out. His girlfriend is not okay.' I told her. I realized I should not have added that. Tommorow the rumors of Andre's girlfriend would be everywhere! Molly had overdosed on a hard drug as the doctor mentioned. The drug we found by her side. He mentioned the chemicals in the drug. I could not get all he said about it's constituents. Molly allegedly administers the drug through her nostrils and does it usually as so much drugs were found in her system after a drug test. Andre was short of words as the doctor explained it all. Yuri even testified seeing whitish substances on the tip of her sister's nose sometimes.
The doctor said he had other patients that all got affected by the same drug Molly had. It was the new drug in town. I instantly knew it was the drug I myself was getting addicted to. It was Finger-dip. Andre also knew it was the drug he had given me.
