You couldn't sleep. It was the third time this week you had stood in the kitchen of your shared apartment. No matter how much melatonin you took, or how much warm milk you drank, no matter how many articles you had searched, you just couldn't sleep. And you hated it. So here you were at 2:03 am, standing in the middle of the kitchen, drinking a glass of water while looking out the window.

You thought you were the only one awake at this ungodly hour until you heard light footsteps coming from the hallway. "(Y/N)? What're you doing up this early?" Your Boyfriend asked walking into the kitchen rubbing his eyes. He looked exhausted because of all the streaming he had been doing. That was the way the two of you had met, actually. Dream had invited you onto his SMP after watching some of your streams, and he was the first one to help you out at spawn. You thought the sight of his fox skin running towards you was hilarious, and the two of you hit it off. When he found out you lived in the Netherlands, he wanted to meet up with you, and he told you he loved you. When he found out you felt the same, he was ecstatic.

"Couldn't sleep." You responded simply, continuing to look outside. Out of the corner of your vision, you could see him walk over to where you stood, finding it funny he was practically stumbling while your eyes had adjusted to the darkness, until he was in front of you. He looked down at you, a small smile evident on his face, as he opened his arms up. Taking the hint, you set down your water and walked into his embrace. Instantly, you started to feel sleepy, his warm embrace lulling you to go to sleep right then and there.

Fundy took notice of this, and started walking the two of you to your shared bedroom. Soon enough, the two of you were covered by the blankets, keeping the two of you together, cuddling.

The two of you finally got some well-needed sleep that night, both of you being just like melatonin to the other.
