I am a kid, but I am a person
There is a soul inside of me
So where's this law you've written?
Where is this decree?
I am a person
Something you don't see
I am who I am
Who I will always want to be
Children are not slave
Dogs, cats, or mice
We have feelings, too
A little respect would suffice
So here's to you adults
As we clink our drinks full of ice
We are the children of the world
We are people, as I've said more than twice
