You're beautiful to me, Megan.

My realizaton comes to this:
You don't see yourself
The way that I see you
I'll look up and smile
And for the first time
It feels true
I want to be happy
But, the fake cannot be real
I have lived a drowning lie
They say they see happiness
Floating, sparkling, dancing
Upon my naked eye
But, I wasn't happy
Back then before
Not often or long, at least
Then I met you
And you seemed different
Not such a horrible beast
I decided that I liked you
Not in any like or form
But just a subtle liking
We got closer
And for the first time
My insides were not crying
You have made me happy
But, then I came to see
That you have something I don't have
Self-Hatred
You told me more than once
That it's all your fault
Which I don't understand
You're lovely, Megan
Smart, funny, and talented
You have brought me something that not many can
Happiness
Sure, I may seem glad
When I may be sad
Perhaps I have gone mad
But you made me smile
One I haven't seen in a while
Then, you put your "problems" in a pile
You tell me you're not good
You tell me you're not great
But, no matter what you say to me
I'll want to see your face
Live for me, please?
I don't want to be scared again
You're frightening me with this talk
Please, don't do it again

You're my best friend, Megan. Even more than I could ever really want. Don't do it again. Please?
And, if you look closely, you'll see that I twisted around a stansa of my poem about somebody judging me. No matter what, I know you're you, and nothing can change that. I'll never judge you for who you aren't, or even for who you are.
Don't say you're bad because you're different. I love you because you are. Don't leave me. Please. I don't care how much you just can't stand it... LIVE. Please. Please. Please.
Don't leave me.
