Riley's PoV:
"Who's this?" I asked Andrew.
No reply.
Andrew let the girl in and now we three are sitting in the living room. It was awkward to be honest. Andrew kept glancing between me and the girl. No one uttered a word.
Alex came down from his room and saw the situation in the living room.
"Oh, Abigali. Hi" Alex said.
"Hi, Alex." she greeted him back.
I just excused myself and went to meet Alex in the kitchen. It was suffocating in the living room.
"Hey, Alex. So how did it go with your secret admirer?" I asked him.
"I am meeting her tomorrow" Alex said scratching his head.
"Not so single pringle anymore" I said laughing.
"Oh! Alex you are blushing and you haven't even meet this girl" I said laughing.
"Shut up!" Alex said
"Well, who's this girl?" I couldn't hell but ask.
"Andrew didn't tell you?" Alex asked raising his eyebrows.
"About her?" I asked.
Alex nodded.
"Umm, No" I replied.
"That's Abigail Balasco. And that is all you will hear from me cause it's not my place to tell" Alex said offering me a cup of coffee he made.
"Ugh! You have made it more skeptical."
I said frustrated.
"I can't help you here, Riley. I am sorry. That's the bro code" Alex said giving me a tight smile.
"That's fine, I guess." I said to Alex.
Alex left to his room again.
I didn't know what to do. No one has uttered a word.
"Well, Andrew. Um, I got to leave." I said awkwardly.
Andrew just nodded at me. Huh, weird.
Cause everytime I say I am going to go, he would always finds a way to make me stay. Something's definitely not right.
"I will walk you to the door" I hear Andrew saying.
"Uh, I will talk you later, Riley" Andrew said kissing my cheek.
"Yeah" I said dryly.
I called Allie. She picked up in the second ring.
"Hey, girl! Can you meet me at Starbucks?" I asked.
"Yo, chica. Sure, I can" she replied.
I bought our favorite drinks and was waiting outside for her.
"Wow, I must have did some great things to you in the past week" Allie said approaching.
I didn't even notice her parking her car as I was in my own thoughts.
"Shut up." I replied rolling my eyes.
"Geez. Take a chill pill!" Allie said eyeing me weirdly.
We both finished our coffee in silence.
"Come on, let's go to the beach" I told her.
"Okay" Allie said.
"And now tell me what happened?" Allie asked me.
