A new motive had been given. It was similar to the first. The thing is, now for this motive, it was people close to us here. If no one had killed anyone within 24 hours, then, someone was selected at random and had to see someone they cared for killed in front of them. And if after that no one died in 12 hours, the same thing happened, then 6 hours, then 3, then 1.5 and it kept getting lower. I didn't want to lose Mondo. Four people had already died and we had seen two of the executions, we knew the power the mastermind held. I didn't want that to happen to Mondo, or for Mondo to have to witness that.
I eventually found myself in my dorm trying to calm myself down. I heard a knock on the dorm door which I walked to to see who it was. "Hey Taka, are ya okay?" Mondo asked when I opened the door. I shook my head. "I didn' think so," Mondo said while walking in my room and closing the door behind him. "What's up?" He asked. I started crying. "Mondo you're the closest person to me here I don't want to see you die," I said, throwing myself into his chest where I felt him wrap his arms around me. He clearly had nothing to say so just wrapped his arms tighter around me. I had a sudden realisation. "What if I..." But I didn't finish. "Taka don' ya even fuckin' think about it for a second!" Mondo exclaimed angrily, pulling from the hug to look at me in the face. "But, Mondo... I can't see you die..." I said sadly. "Yeah? An' what if ya get away with it? Me an' the whole class will have ta get punished and you'd still see me die! And if ya loose, I'll have ta watch ya die!" Mondo shouted, causing me to flinch. I hesitated to say something. "Look Taka I care for ya deeply, but I can't lose ya or anythin' so don't consider it," He said softly. I sighed. "What if... what if we both kill someone?" I asked. "What? Taka what the fuck?!" Mondo exclaimed again seemingly conflicted on how he should feel. "Well think, it means there's a guaranteed chance of not seeing each other die. We win, we walk out of this school together, we lose, we die together," I said in thought. "And we could frame people as well! Make it seem as if others had done it and I know how to!" I said having a bunch of thoughts rush into my head. "Taka yer not actually considering this are ya?" Mondo asked in disbelief. "So what if I am!" I snapped. Mondo seemed to be caught off guard. He sighed. "So what are ya thinkin' to get this to work?" Mondo asked now considering the plan himself. Once we had completed the plan, we were about to depart to 'sleep' when in reality it was just before we were going to start the killings. Mondo hesitated leaving my room. "Everything okay?" I asked worried. He turned towards me and kissed me. "Just in case anything goes wrong, I couldn' live with myself knowing that I'd never told ya how I felt," He said, pulling back with a small smile. I smiled in return and before I knew it, he left.
After a few minutes I picked up the note I had written before leaving my room to go to the warehouse. It surprisingly had poison in there so I picked it up. I slid the note under my victims door before running off to the kitchen. I was standing there for about five minutes until I heard the door open. "Oh, Taka, you're here too?" A soft voice asked. I turned around and saw Mukuro. "Er, hey Mukuro, what are you doing here?" I asked curiously. "I got a note saying to come here, I thought it was rather suspicious so I've got my guard up," She said, her eyebrows furrowed. "What are you doing here?" She asked suspiciously. "I had a bit of a dry throat so came to get a drink... would you like anything?" I asked after pausing, trying to be polite. She still seemed suspicious and had a sort of angry expression on her face, but she gave a shrug after a second. "Why not," She said. Mukuro requested a small glass of water in which I managed to stealthily slip the poison in. I felt slightly guilty, but reminded myself what I was doing this for and carried out my plan. I turned away as it started to take effect, I felt awful for doing this but I couldn't take it back now. Once she had made her way onto the floor, I checked her pulse to make sure it had fully worked which it luckily had. I sighed in relief, I'm easily trusted with my Ultimate Talent so that's why I signed myself up for the poisoning as now no one would suspect me being a moral compass and all, it made this easier for me. I removed any traces of me being here as well as what caused Mukuros death and then took the poison back to the warehouse. I then balanced out the liquid amounts in each small bottle so it wasn't at all obvious where the poison came from. I did a thorough check in there to make sure no one could figure it out and checked the kitchen one last time. Once I had made sure there was no evidence it was me, I went to Mondo's dorm and gave a light knock. He opened it and when he saw me, he gave a small nod and closed the door of his dorm. I then went to my room. He was about to carry out his side of the plan. See, what we had decided was we were going to frame two people, but not make it obvious two people had done it, the only two who would be able to observe this would be the ones we were framing. This would then make them seem suspicious as I had done certain things to make sure that it had seemed one person unless you observed things very closely. I also knew how to forge handwriting and luckily enough for me I had seen both these peoples writing before so could forge the notes. I had many things I had planned for this to be perfect, it just had to work.
