The next day at school was even more awkward. Me and cook would occasionally give eachother looks and it felt like a school girl crush. Every time he looked at me I got all tingly and nervous. Later towards the end of the school day I was helping Ms.Gamze with some work to get some extra credit, since my grades weren't doing well. Suddenly I heard the door open and I see cook walking in. "Cook? What are you doing here? I'm working," I explain. He smiles a seductive smile walking closer to me, " yeah you'll be working alright." I roll my eyes smiling a bit. He walks over to me and kisses me leaving a soft tingle. "Cook..Ms.Gamze could be back any second," I say as he moves down to my neck. "This won't take long," he responded. "Cook what are you doing in here?" Ms.Gamze asks. I pop up from under the desk fake smiling. "Just helping Lana with work stuff," cook replied. "I suppose that includes staring at her buttocks too?" She says folding her arms. I look at cook and nudge him, "cook!" He laughs a bit, "okay sorry I'll go and leave you lady's to working," he says getting up and leaving the room. "Ms.Stonem you may leave early I'll see you tomorrow," she says waving me off. "Okay?," I say grabbing my things and leaving. I noticed cook was standing outside the door. Once we got outside the school we sit on the stairs and light a spliff. "Okay tell me what's going on..I just seen cook treating you like a cheerleader," she says chuckling a bit. "Okay fine but you can't say anything to ANYONE," I say pointing vigorously. "Okay," she says taking a smoke and blowing O's. "Alright..at the thing we had at my house with everyone..me and cook, kinda, sort of, kind of had a thing,"I say looking down. "What thing?....oh..OH" Emily says with a shocked expression. "You and cook SHAGGED?" Emily says pretty loudly. "SHHH! and yes...and it was really fun," I said pretty embrassed. "Wow..who would've thought." "Well..it was one time and it was just the heat of the moment right?" She asks looking at me. I was kind of closing my eyes hoping she wouldn't ask that question. "LANA! How many? You know what I don't even want to know." "It was only twice..but it's nothing, I think...Oh who am I kidding I think I like him," I say face palming. "WHAT? Okay slow down," Emily says chuckling. "I thought you loved Freddie." "I do..I'll always love him but there's something about cook and I'm falling for him. I don't know what the fuck is going on. This is so freaky," I say taking a pull. "Yeah certainly FREAKY," Emily says pushing her eyebrows up and down. I nudge her, "shut up Emily." "Wait don't you think he's an asshole?" She asks. "He's not really an asshole..he just acts like one sometimes. He's actually sweet and funny, certainly giving," I say smiling to myself. "Holy shit, you really like him," Emily states pushing me a bit. I take the last pull on my spliff and then put it out with my boot. "Where are you going?"Emily asks. "WE are going to go your flat," I say walking off.

Suddenly I was sitting on the couch with Emily's mum and katie. It was pretty silent because they both were sleep. I just sat there as  Emily and Naomi yell at eachother in the kitchen. Then Katie and her mom suddenly wake up. They look at me confused. "hi I'm Lana Emily's friend," I say smiling. Emily's mum just looks at me dressed in fishnets and a mini black dress and then flashes me a fake smile. "Hey Katie, you alright?" I ask. She nods and then we hear more yelling. We all get up and go to the kitchen.

"After all the shit she put us through, you just let her marge into our home," Emily exclaims while preparing something. "She's your mum," Naomi replies cuddling into her cardigan. "She's a selfish cow that's what she is," Emily rolls her eyes. Then she noticed were there. Emily eyes her mom angrily. "Emily?" Katie says. "Whatever, stay here. Don't expect me to care cuz I don't." "It's just for a couple of days while we get ourselves out of this pickle," Emily's mom says. "Stay out of my way. This is my house, I live here with my girlfriend, and we're having a barbecue, alright?" Emily scoffs to her mom. "Whatever you say love," her mom responds. Emily then goes on to kiss Naomi when it clearly was not the time. Naomi pushes her off awkwardly and Emily grabs me and takes me out the the backyard. I see everyone grilling or dancing to the music. Naomi and Katie then walk out. I take shots with Emily and some random people here. I needed this. I eye Freddie grilling with Thomas and start to think about kissing him, but then I stop myself remembering I couldn't do that. "Fucking hell," I say out loud still the spliff from Emily. "What is it?" Emily asks I just shake my head blowing o's into the air. I look over to effy, Naomi and Katie chilling on the chair and me and Emily walk over to them. "Who's got any more pills?" Emily asks. "Yup that's what I need," I say laughing. "Effy?" I ask and she just shakes her head. "Don't you think you've had enough?" Katie asks Emily and me. "Don't think..it makes life much easier," I say smiling. "Naomi darling? Got any more of your special powder?" Emily asks smirking a bit. Naomi stares at her stunned a bit. "Don't em.." she responds. "Where's cook when you need him aye," Emily says turning her back. I had no idea what was going on between them besides the cheating but that made me think about how me and cook did stuff today. "Emily I don't think we need him here.." I say chasing after her. Emily ignores me turning the music up and dancing. I just start to dance with her and ignore the shit in my life. I then notice Katie looking at Effy, it was the same look they she  gave her when we were standing outside of roundview. I wonder if she cared about her more than a friend.

Then I see Effy go over to Freddie hugging and kissing him, and I start to get jealous again. Jesus why won't this stop, how do I make it stop? Emily starts dancing with some random girl I didn't recognize, then she started kissing her. Katie gets up shocked. "What the fuck are you doing Emily?" Naomi asks. I just stand there shocked. Yeah Emily shouldn't be kissing another girl but everyone has treated her like shit recently. They continue to makeout and Naomi looked as if she was gonna cry, "Emily. FUCKING STOP THIS SHIT NOW!" Emily's mom watches this all happened. Shit- it's fucked now. "Okay Emily that's enough, maybe break up with her first?" I asked and she pulls away from the girl. She then runs over and pushes Naomi in the pool. She was definitely lashing out which she had the right to do. "Naomi darling, am I making you nice and wet?" She chuckles. "Fuck you," Emily cries pushing her off. Emily gets out the pool and pushes her, "fuck you right back." "Ems stop it," Katie says eyeing her. "Stay out of this," Emily responds. "What? You want to fuck her is that it?" Naomi scoffs. "Maybe I do. So what?" She shrugs her shoulders. "That's enough. What's this all about?" Emily's mom asks. Emily starts to tear up, "its none of your business." "I fucked the dead girl. I fucked Sophia, gave her the drugs and now she's punishing me for it," Naomi cries. "Naomi?" I say gasping. "I knew you'd screw her up," her mom scoffs. Then Emily's dad walks in, "hey good news everyone, I found us a caraben," he says realizing the situation. "Why don't you all just fuck off? Look at you, pretending to be happy families, pretending to love eachother," Emily says crying. "Don't you dare speak to me like that," her mom cries. "Get off your high horse," Emily yells back. "I can't be here anymore," her mom cries leaving. "Bit dramatic, remind you of anyone?" She says getting in Katie's face. Then Katie smacks her and Emily starts crying. Katie screams and storms off. I grab Emily and hug her, she really doesn't deserve this. "None of you give a shit about her, NONE OF YOU! Fucking selfish pieces of shit that's what you are," I yell. Everyone just stands around awkwardly. Me and Emily walk off and go upstairs. I lay in bed with her hugging her as she cries.
