I rolled my eyes as I read the message. So effy went with cook again. I wonder why? I opened my phone and Emily was calling me. "Hey ems," I say groaning. "Are you okay?" "Sort of.." "We were all so scared we couldn't find you and cook just told us you were safe but we didn't believe him obviously," she says trembling. "He's right..for once," I say chuckling. "Um alright..so you know about Freddie and effy already right? Because then I'm glad you are safe. Cook said to look out for you." "What? What do you mean.." "oh shit you don't know..Freddie and effy shagged last night ." As Emily told me what happened I froze, my heart and everything stopped. "I'm so sorry L Freddie and effy are fucked for doing that to you. Where are you I'll come pick you up and we can get ice cream that always helps me feel better...yeah?" "Oh you got to be kidding me, yeah Emily sure I'm just at c.." I froze my tracks. I couldn't tell them where I was just because. "Where?" Emily asks. "Um im on my way home you can meet me there," I say nervously. "Okay sure, and where were you last night," Emily asks. "No where," I laugh putting on my clothes. "Okay secret keeper see you in a bit." I get dressed and I see one of cook's polo shirts. It was one that looked reallt clean out of everything he wore. For some reason I felt like I needed to take it so I did. Then I ran home to meet Emily. Luckily she wasn't there before I go there so I could brush my hair. I decided to throw it up in a ponytail and then I hear the doorbell ring. I run downstairs and I open the door to be greeted by Katie and Emily. "Oh fuck you invited her?" "Jesus why don't you get to know me instead of snobbing about me being around?" Katie says. "Whatever let's go," I say walking out the door. We all walk to go get ice cream and we see pandora. "Hey panda?" Katie says smiling. "Hey guys," she says looking sort of sad. "What you doing out here?" I asked. "Just returning my dress for the loveball because tommo won't go with me anymore," she pouts. "Why? I thought everything was ' ticket flippin boo' so what happened?" I asked confused. Emily face palms, "shit you missed a lot Lana." Katie looks around at us all, "okay let's go get ice cream and we can fill you in."

Once we all get our ice cream they sigh. "Okay will someone start from when I left," I asked. "Alright so basically cook told everyone how him and panda have been shagging as well and Thomas and panda got into a fight," Katie says looking over to Pandora. She was just stabbing her ice cream with a spoon. "Panda why would you do that?" I ask confused. " I don't know cook was just fun and good and he tempted me, I don't know it was just whizzer but I'm never doing surf and turf with boys ever again. It just fucks everything up ain't it?" I nod thinking about my experience with Freddie. "Anyway after the truth was revealed we all went to sleep and in the morning effy and Freddie look like they've been fooling around." As I hear that again I start to feel bad again. I touch my scars under the table remembering my experience last night. "Yeah and then everyone got pretty mad at them too especially me and effy ran off with cook again," Emily said rolling her eyes. "Nothing ever changes does it?" I say fiddling with my bracelet. "Sadly not L.."Emily says. We all look down at our ice cream. "Oh shit ..fuck Freddie's here," Katie says trying to look away. "Oh fucking hell..no no not now," I say hiding my face. "Don't worry he isn't stupid enough to come over here," Emily says looking at him. We're all silent for a while and then Emily scoffs, "oh fuckery he's coming." I sigh to myself starting to get a panic attack. I couldn't deal with this all in a few hours. "Hey," Freddie says. "The fuck do you want Freddie?" Emily says. I look up and see Freddie looking at me with empathy. "Freddie I don't want to talk.." I say looking back down. "Look L I'm sorry..I fucked up." "No..you fucked effy when you weren't meant to be fucking Lana," Katie says. "Look I'm sorry it just..it happened and we didn't exactly leave on a good note. I wasn't thinking okay," he says frowning slighty. "Well one we weren't on a good note because you still love her and you were ignoring and yeah you fucked up alright.." I got over stressed trying to talk. I ran off to the bathroom and Emily yelled after me. I just went into the bathroom and cried. I couldn't believe it got worst after all of this..but I couldn't cut...it was hard to resist. I heard someone knock on the door. "Go away please," I say. I hear the door open and then I forget I hadn't locked the door. Freddie came in and sat beside me. "I'm really sorry L, what can I do to make it up to you?" Freddie asks. "There's nothing I can do to make you love me more than her can I?" I asked looking up at him with tears in my eyes. He was silent and he looked sad but he didn't say anything. But I knew the answer. I sighed to myself. "But you do all this but yet she is with cook right now instead of you," I scoff. Freddie turns and sighs. "Look I know why you love her freds, she's beautiful and quite unique and she was the light you looked when you were having problems." I say looking down. "Yeah and you are too it's just.." I cunt him off bluntly, " don't say anything Freddie just give me a hug okay?" Then we hug and I felt a bit better. I knew things weren't gonna changed between Freddie and effy. They loved each other and though it was complicated I knew it was strong. Stronger than I've ever seen effy have before. I still loved Freddie but I'd given up letting myself be a rebound. I didn't let it get me down though I know Freddie loved me too deep down. I smirked to myself, "you know what would make me feel a lot better?" "What?" Freddie said looking at me with his furrowed brows. "If you take me to the love ball," I saw batting my eyes and pouting my lips. "Okay, come!" He smiles and then hugs me. "You guys alright in there? I'll beat him up if he tries anything," Emily says. We both laugh, "yeah no We're just shagging." "Surf and turf isn't good remember?" Pandora says. I get up and open the door. "Let's go girls!" I say pulling them. "What where? And What happened?" Emily says. "We're going to the love ball!" I say dragging them to the dress store.

"Since when did you get all cheery? Didn't Freddie break your heart?" Katie asks. "Shut up Katie just go along with what I said, Freddie is taking me to the ball, Naomi is taking Emily and Thomas is taking pandora. Katie you're..uh.." I started to feel bad. Katie rolls her eyes. "With my sister obvs, right ems?" Emily nods but I know she didn't want this. I just stayed out of their drama I didn't need anything more now.

after we picked out our dresses I went home and got dressed. Freddie and JJ was we're gonna meet us all. Emily had said Naomi wouldn't come so I just said JJ can be her date. Once we all met up it was pretty awkward. But eventually we lightened up. Freddie offered me a dance and we slow danced to the music. It felt so good being with him before he would be with my sister. Whenever she decides to stop being a bitch and not play hide and seek. All of a sudden Emily and Katie tumble into the gym fighting. Me and Freddie look at eachother confused. They continue fighting untill Emily is on top of Katie about to punch her, but she didn't. Instead she picks her up fixing her dress strap. "Katie I can't do this anymore." She says. "I love you and I'll never leave you but I'm not you.." she says as Katie just stares at her. "And I like girls,..no I like a girl..no I love a girl."  "I love her," she says pointing to Naomi across the room watching. "Ok," Katie says looking forward. Naomi then reaches out for her hand and they walk off. I clapped pretty happy for them! "Aww I was hoping to get shagged tonight," jj said frowning. "Pardon?" I say. "No jj there will be no shagging," he says looking at jj with a 'what the hell' face. "Emily's gay she wouldn't shag you," I say confused. "Right.." jj says laughing to himself. Me Freddie and JJ walk out of the school satisfied with our night. We all head to the shed because I didn't want to go home. It was weird without effy and mom being ya know distant.
