Recap

Taking one last deep breath to steel himself, he furrowed his brows and ran a hand through his newly dyed hair, reaching up to the earpiece again. "Alright.. this is it."

He started to walk forward, eyes narrowed. "Let's do this."

Semi tried to drown out the noise of the party on the lower floor as he paced back and forth, his hands starting to sweat with the anxiety that clamped down on his shoulders.

He and Kageyama had been settled into one of the empty storage rooms, planned on being kept there until Oikawa needed them later on.

Kageyama was resting, or at least trying to, but Semi's back and forth footsteps and his thoughts continuously wheeling around Hinata were certainly not doing him any good.

Had it really only been a month?

A month of being tossed around by Oikawa had finally led to tonight, the night Kageyama would find himself back to his mafia, wounded or weak it didn't matter.

They were waiting for him, he knew they were.

And Semi would make it safely back to Ushijima, enveloped into the protection of Shiratorizawa without another scratch.

And they'd both have the pleasure of watching as Oikawa, the 'Grand King' of the business, was finally conquered and collapsed onto the carpeted floors of the museum - broken, bruised, bleeding, unmoving.

But killing him would mean killing Iwaizumi, one way or another - and odd as it sounds Kageyama had no interest in doing that.

Seijoh was already a strong and well-respected mafia, and no matter how much their favorite facade was to pretend they weren't fond of Oikawa, they were. He was their leader, after all.

The one who would stay with them through thick and thin and never give up on them.

And on more than one occasion he really had taken care of them, risked his life for them and picked fights with numerous amounts of people who ever doubted them.

He was here for them in the first place, only trying to do his best for the better of the group of cadets that had become his family.

At the end of the day, of course they'd all do their best to protect him, and Kageyama didn't want to imagine what they'd become if they lost him.

Besides, what would Iwaizumi do? How would he cope with it? He'd known Oikawa practically since they were kids, and losing him all of a sudden would be a wound that would never close, that would never stop bleeding.

Kageyama frowned, blinking after realizing how long he'd been staring at the ground, and felt a sigh rattle his chest.

Keeping all of that in mind, he lowered his head and tried to calm himself down.

It was going to be a long night.
