Recap

"But you're right, we should introduce ourselves." The blond grinned, bowing dramatically as he waved an arm in a grand gesture.

"We're Atsumu and Osamu Miya."

It was maybe fifteen minutes worth of having to fight Semi to get past before Oikawa managed to make it up the stairs, bruised and bleeding but still going.
Seeming urgent, he furrowed his brows and smoothed his sleeves, wiping blood from his nose. "Open the door."

Iwaizumi seemed hesitant but complied, pulling it open and turning to Mattsun before walking in. "Keep an eye on everyone."
He got a nod in response, knowing how stupid it was to put Mattsun in charge but it would be a quick visit anyways.

Kageyama was slumped against the wall, slipped down to the ground after failing to support himself, shoulders slouched and breathing heavy.
Obviously unconscious.

Oikawa huffed, staring down at him disdainfully before turning to Iwaizumi - who by now had shut off the vents so it was 'safe' to walk in so to speak. "Let them have Yamaguchi. We have the one we want now."

Iwaizumi seemed as though he was going to protest, remembering the look on Kageyama's face several years prior when he had asked Oikawa for guidance.
He looked so eager and hopeful, with that little grin on his face that would soon come to be wiped of its innocence upon experiencing the real mafia business.

He frowned, but nodded. "So help me if you hurt him though, I'll be the first to hear." He muttered, getting a pout from Oikawa before stepping out of the room.
Drawing the door closed behind him, he whistled sharply and gestured with his head to the other side of the staircase where a portion of Nekoma had gathered holding Yamaguchi back. "Let him go, that's an order from your leader."

Yamaguchi's breath was frantic, eyes wide, heart beating so fast it almost felt as though he'd pass out by the time the intense grips on his arms were released.
He passed an uneasy glance to Iwaizumi, who returned eye contact with a glare and a quick motion of his head that was sure to mean 'get moving'.

And so he did, ran as fast as his legs could allow him down the stairs, looking around swiftly.
It was hard to find anybody familiar in the blur of brawling cadets, but he would always recognize the same blond hair he had come to love. "Tsukki," he breathed out, before repeating himself louder so he could be heard. "Tsukki!"

As if on queue, the blond spun around and let a shuddery breath escape him. The noise surrounding him felt as though it had gone completely silent as he simply stared at Yamaguchi for a few seconds.
So many emotions were flashing past: relief, warmth, anger, a vulnerable sort of sadness, he couldn't sort it out.

Yamaguchi smiled faintly before running forward, a faint limp in his stride though he pushed on.

The reunion was explosive.

Tsukki gripped onto Yamaguchi as tight as he could, pulling him close and not letting him go for anything, forgetting all about what was happening around them. "I thought they killed you.."
Yamaguchi practically threw his arms around the blond's neck, burying his face into Tsukki's shoulder and shaking his head, letting out a tiny laugh before pulling back slightly to be able to see the cadet's face. "Almost."

They smiled at each other, mere inches away, before reality came crashing back and they abruptly parted.
"I need to get back to the others," Tsukki murmured, resting a hand on Yamaguchi's face gently and brushing a thumb beneath his eye, frowning. "Get towards the back, it's safer there."
