Confidence chapter eight.
First date.

After staying up late with my brothers I woke up and showered. I put on a black skirt and a pink shirt. I tucked the shirt into the black skater shirt.

I walk downstairs and sit in the living room, the guys were playing Halo.

"What are you wearing!?" Kian asked.
"I don't know does it look bad?" I ask.
"I don't think you should wear that on your date." Kian said.
"Why?" I ask.
"That skirt is to short." Kalin said.
"No it's not." I say.
"Guys she looks great. It's not to short. Let her live a little." Kaden laughed.
"Thanks." I smile to him.

"I'm guessing you two don't like Josh and you don't have a problem with him." I said pointing to Kian at the last.
"I like him." Kaden said.
"We're just protective over you." Kian said and Kalin nodded.
"Yeah. But it's going to happen sometime and it might as well be with Josh." Kaden said.

Kaden and Josh used to be friends before Kaden went off to college.

The two boys rolled their eyes and I smiled at Kaden. They played halo. We literally played until the doorbell rang. It was Josh.

I went to go get the door. Kian followed me. I looked at him weirdly then opened the door to see josh standing their nervously.

I smile and he smiles back. Then he looked up at Kian and his smile faded. I laughed at him being scared.

"We're going to go now." I laugh.
"Bye." Kian says kissing my forehead.

We walk out to Josh's car.
"Where are we going?" I ask.
"Dinner and a movie." He smiles.
"What are we watching!" I ask.
"What do you want to watch." He asked.
"I don't know something funny or dramatic." I say.
"America Sniper or The wedding ringer?" Josh asked.
"The wedding Ringer!" I say excitedly.

After a few minutes we pull up to a restaurant. It was kinda fancy but still casual. It was nice.

We then when to the movies. I laughed the whole time. Except the very beginning because I felt bad for the loser. I hope that's not me one day. What am I even saying? I'm already a loser.

My favorite part was where the grandma got caught on fire. I sat there and laughed and Josh covered his mouth like he was shocked. He told me I was a horrible person because I laughed. I don't care because it was funny.!

I also like the part where they went to the 'gay' guys house and found out who he really was. It was so funny! HE WANTED THE NACHOS!

Well I know I did.

"You put the weed in the coconut and light that ____ up." I laugh as we get in his car.

I didn't say the cuss words because I don't like cussing.
"What's the real version to that?" Josh asked.
"You put the lime in the coconut and drink that sh___ up." I say. Again not cussing.
"Oh. I thought so." He said.
"Did you like the movie?" I asked.
"Yes, it was so funny." He said.
"I know." I laugh.

I pull out my phone and look at the time. 11:15. The guys might get mad but who cares.

I check my messages. I only got one and it was from Kaden.

'Have fun on your date. Love you sis. ;)' it read.
That was only 20 minutes ago. I guess he doesn't care that I'm out this late.

"Am I taking you home now?" Josh asked.
"Well if you want to." I laughed.
"Well I don't want to. I wanna take you to my house." He said with a wink.

I blushed a bit then he laughed.

"Your brothers might kill me if I have you any later so I better take you back." He said with a pouty face.

I smile at him.
Gosh my feelings are growing so much stronger.
"I think we should do that again." I smile.
"Yeah. I had a lot of fun with you." He said.

We drove a bit further.

"What are you doing tomorrow?" Josh asked.
"I was planning on going to the gym." I said.
"Mind if I join?" He acquired.
"If you want to." I smile.
"Okay." He said as we pulled into my driveway.

He told me to weight in the car so he could open my door.
He interlocked our fingers and we walked to my front steps.

"Is this the part where I kiss you and say goodnight?" Josh asked.

I smiled and hugged him tightly.
He then pulled away holding my shoulders. Then he did it.

He kissed me. Long and soft kiss. Well long until Kian opened the front door. Josh pulled away and I blushed.

"Have a good time?" Kian asked.
"Yeah.... Until you opened the door." I mumble the last part.

Josh chuckled but Kian looked unhappy. He'll get over it.

"Bye Josh." I say and walk into the door."
"Bye Kayla." Josh smiled.

Kian shut the door then I was surrounded by three boys.
My dad, Kian, and Kalin.

Kaden was at the kitchen table.

"Why did you kiss him!" Kian exclaimed.
"Because I wanted to." I smirk.
"You can't just go kissing people you barely know." Kian said.
"Barely know? I've known him since pre-school. He used to hang out with Kaden all the time to do he's obviously not that bad." I say.

"Whatever Kayla." Kalin said.

I walk up to my room followed by Kaden.
I didn't even bother to change. I was tired.
Kaden walked in my room and laid behind me. He wrapped his arms around me and squeezed me tigh.

"How was the date?" He asked.
"Good."
"Cool." He smiled.
"I have a question." I said.
"I have the answer." He smiled.
"How come you're not freaking out like the others?" I ask.
"Because Josh is a really good guy. And he knows how to treat a girl right. I know that sounds weird but he's really nice." He said.
"Oh." I say.

I later hear the light snoring of Kaden. I slowly drifted of to sleep. Cuddled next to my big brother I slept good.
