Confidence- chapter five.
Brothers

The week went by pretty quickly. I was excited to see my brothers! The only thing I wasn't excited for was stupid Josh being there.
I had to lie though! They wouldn't come home if I didn't!

'I'll be there in 20 minutes' Josh texted me.
'Okay. Hurry up! They're waiting!' I hurry him.

I was downstairs in the living room with the boys. Dad had to work today so it was just us.

"You can't wear that in front of your boyfriend!" Kalin yelled.
"What? What's wrong with this?" I say looking down.
"To much skin!" Kaden said.
"No it's not." I smile.
"Guys she's fine!" Kian said. "It's not like he's going to do anything to her." He backed me up.

Yeah, Josh is definitely not going to do anything to me! Gross!

I was wearing a red crop top and capris.

Ding dong!
The doorbell rang.
My head shot to the door.
"I'll get it!" I yell at them signaling them to stay sitting.

I get up and run to the door.
I open it to a smiling Josh.
He looked my body up and down.
I glared at him.
Shame on you!

"Thank god. You're a life saver!" I whisper to him.
"Well this might be all fake but I still am actually nervous. Your brothers are scary." He said quietly.
"You'll be fine." I smile and walk into the living room with the guys.

They stare at Josh.

"Guys this is Josh. My boyfriend." I said.
It was weird saying that Josh was my boyfriend.
Eww!
I don't ever want to date him.
Josh was standing really close behind me. Almost touching me.

"You're to close!" Kian yelled to him.
"Sorry. Sir?" Josh said scaredly.
"Sir?" I question Josh.
"Sorry." Josh laughed.

My brothers stare him down. Kalin walks around him. Kaden stands in front of him with crossed arms. Kian did as well.

"Hashtag AWKWARD." I said making a hashtag with my fingers.
"You're dating my sister?" Kaden said glaring.
"Yeah." Josh says looking scared.

The boys looked at each other. As if they were communicating with their eyes.

Kaden giggled.
Kian hit Kaden in the chest.
"Sorry, this is funny." Kaden laughed.
"You ruin everything." Kalin said to Kaden.

"Let's go do something!" I wine.
"Fine let's go play football outside." Kalin said walking to the backyard.
"I'll go get the football!" I yell and run up to my room.

I was playing with it yesterday and didn't put it up so that's why it's in there.

My brothers walk outside and Josh follows me.

"This is so weird!" Josh whispered.
"I know. Just suck it up! They can't find out that it was a lie." I say.
"Fine!" He said.
"You have to be here tomorrow too!" I say reminding him.
"Ugh!" He complained.
"Hush! You know you wanna be around me!" I tease.
"Yeah. I know." He said.

I paused.
Did he mean that he did want to be around me?
What! No no! He can't actually like me! That's not happening!
It won't!

"Whatever let's go!" I say and we walk to the back yard.

We start our game of fun.
I actually love playing football.

"Kalin, kaden and kayla on one team. Josh and I on the other." Kian said.
"But it's uneven." Kaden said.
"Yeah, but they got the good people." I said.

Josh is pretty good at football.

Kalin threw the ball at me. I caught it and unfortunately got tackled.
By Josh.

"Eww! Josh get off me!" I yell.
"You know you like this." He whispered to me. Just low enough where only I could here.

He quickly got off of me and Kian laughed awkwardly.
Did Kian hear!?
God, I hope not!
That's awkward.
Wait!
Why would Josh say that?
It's like he's actually trying to make me like him. Well I don't! And I won't!

We played our game. Our team one! We're the best!
Haha losers!

"Hey, I've got to go home." Josh said as he looked at his phone.

"Bye." Kalin laughed.
"See ya." Kian smiled.
"Yeah, bye!" Kaden said.
"Umm. Bye." I smile.

But my smile was like an embarrassment smile. The boys smile was like 'yes! He's finally leaving!' Look.

Josh hugged me.
Good acting Josh!
I pushed Josh out the front door and walked to the living room. I sit down by kaden. He smiled to me.

Then I see Kalin and Kian have a smirk on their faces.

"What are you guys smiling about?" I question.
"Nothing." Kalin said.
"Is he coming over tomorrow?" Kaden asked.
"Yeah, why?" I ask.
"No reason." Kian said with a evil grin.
"I don't care. I'm just glad you guys didn't try to embarrass me!" I laugh.
"Just wait." Kalin grins.
"Please don't!" I begged.

Great. Their going to do it. The bad thing is Josh and I don't even date! And never will.

I walk to my room to put on sweats. I just leave the crop top on and walk back downstairs.
I sit on the couch.

"Are you okay?" Kaden asked.
"I don't feel good." I say as I bring my legs up to my chest.

"Sorry." Kian smiled.
"Whatever." I laugh.
I curl up in the couch and fall asleep.
