Chapter twelve- confidence.
Fat?
Ugh. Summers over. School starts. TOMORROW! It's already midnight so it technically starts today. I don't wanna go!Okay. Goodnight.
I wake up the next morning and I'm already really tired. I quickly take a shower and get dressed. I put on high waisted jeans and a red shirt. I put on some white Chucks and apply little makeup.
Forty minutes until school starts. Yay!
"Hey babe." Josh says walking into my room.
"Hey." I say looking in the long mirror.God, I'm fat.
I think to myself."Stop looking at yourself like that. You look perfect." Josh says leaning back on my bed.
"Thanks." I say going to hug him.Lately I've been feeling really fat. By feeling I mean looking. I don't like the way my body looks anymore.
"Let's go eat." He says pecking me on the lips.We run down the stairs and he fixed himself cereal.
"Are you not eating?" He asked.
"No, I'm not hungry." I smile lightly.
"Oh, okay." He shrugged. He eats his food and we go off to school. We have the second and third class together, we also have the sixth and eighth class together. The last class (eighth) is gym.
For like the first month and a half of gym we do weights and cardio. Every year. That's pretty much the only time we use it. It's only because he has to get us back in shape.
Eighth hour----
I quickly get dressed in shorts and a shirt. I walk out and Josh greets me.
"Why are you wearing that?" He asked.
"Because? What am I supposed to wear?" I ask.
"Well usually you wear a sports bra and workout tight." He stated.
"Yeah, so?" I said.
"Why aren't you doing that now?" He smirks.
"Because Josh." I say getting a little agitated.
"Okay, I'm sorry." He said pulling my waist and kissing my lips."Okay Lovebirds. No PDA." Mr. Stacks our gym teacher says.
"Sorry coach." Josh says.
"How was summer?" Stacks asked.
"Good." Josh said and stacks walked off.Coach blew his whistle and people gathered around him.
"We're all going to the weight room." He said.
The few people we had in the class rushed out the door.
We probably only had 30 people in the class.Josh and I were the last out the door and walking to the other room.
Josh's POV.>>>~
Kayla's acting weird. She's acting in confident. This really bothers me. Mostly because I know she used to cut. I don't want her to do that ever again. She doesn't need to feel like that.
She's been saying she's fat and things like that, but she's no where near fat. She has a flat stomach and everything. How could she think she's fat?
She ran on the Treadmill all hour. Then school was over.
I had a pretty good first day."Wanna go eat?" I say coming up to her locker.
"I'm not hungry, but you can eat." She smiled.
"Okay." I shrug.She hadn't eaten all day.
We go eat.
"Are you sure you don't want anything?" I ask before I order.
"I'm positive." She smiled.I ordered my food and we sat down to eat. I ate my food and we drove to her house. I had to just drop her off because I have to take my sister to soccer practice.
After laughing a lot at my sister her practice was over. It's 8:30 so kayla and her family would have eaten already. They have dinner at 7.
'Hey did Kayla eat dinner?' I text her brother Kaden.
'No. She said she ate with you. Why?' He texted me.
'I was just wondering.' I texted him.
