Chapter six- sick day.

Confidence- chapter six
Sick day.

I wake up in the morning.
I have a massive headache and I feel like throwing up. A tear slipped down my cheek.

The boys were already up and watching tv. Then the doorbell rings.
Crap!
Josh can't see me like this!

"I'll get it." Kian said walking to the front door.

I feel to sick to even move. I just stayed put. I really don't want Josh to see me like this.

What the crap! Why do I even care. It's just Josh!

"Be quiet Kayla is still sleeping." I heard Kian say.
"No I'm not." I say quietly.

It was quite but they still heard.

"Kayla are you okay?" Kaden said seeing that I was crying.

"Stop Kaden. I really feel sick." I say trying to cover my face.

I noticed my hand shaking.
Great! I really am sick.

"What's wrong?" Kalin asked.
"I have a headache and I think I'm going to throw up. But I feel so bad that I can't even move." I say.

Kalin and Kian glare at each other.
What's that about?

"Should I leave?" Josh asked.
"No, it's alright you can stay." Kian said. But he said it with a glare.

What's going on!

The boys left the room. Leaving me and josh.

"You alright?" Josh asked.
"No." I say.
"I really don't want you to see me like this either." I say.
"It's alright." He says.
"No." I say.
"Well, I'm pretty sure your brothers hate me." He smiled.
"No they don't. I don't think they do." I say.
"I do." He said.

As he said that the boys walk back in.

I grab my phone and look at the time.
8:30 wow! It's early.

"Kayla why don't you go to your room?" Kian asked.
"Umm. Why?" I ask.
"Just go." He said.
"I kinda can't." I say.
"What?" Kalin asked.
"I'm like to week to even Stand up." I say.
"I'll carry you." Josh said.
"No! Kaden carry me." I say.
"No. Josh carry her." Kaden said.

I glare at Kaden.

Josh picked me up and I shoved my head into his chest.
He carried me up the stairs and laid me on my bed.

"Are you going home?" I ask.
"I guess." He said.
"Thanks for helping me." I smile.
"Any time." He smiled and walked downstairs.

I quickly dozed off to sleep. Again.
I can't help it I like sleep!

I woke up not to much later to yelling. I check the time I was only asleep for twenty minutes. I walk downstairs to my brothers yelling at Josh.

Josh? I thought he left!

They stopped yelling as they notice me. They stopped to soon I didn't know what they were talking about.

"What's going on?" I ask.
"Nothing." Kalin said.

I look to Josh as if asking him. He just shook his head.
"I'll see you at school." Josh said and walked out the door.

"What just happened?" I ask.
"Nothing, don't worry about it." Kaden said.
"What did you tell him!" I yell.
"Nothing." Kaden yelled back.
"I need to know! He can ruin my life with something you could have said!" I yell.
"He's your boyfriend! I'm pretty sure he wouldn't do that. Especially because it could ruin him to." Kian reassured.
"He's not my boyfriend!" I yell in confession.
"What?" Kian asked.
"I lied! I wanted you to come home! I missed you guys. And I was willing to ask him to do that for me! Just so I could see my brothers!" I yell.

They said nothing. I ran up to my slamming and locking my door.

I quickly call Josh.

"Josh what did they tell you?!" I ask as he answered.
"Nothing. It's okay. Don't worry about it." He said I could feel his smile through the phone.
"Promise?" I question.
"Yeah. I promise." He said.
"Okay" I say.
"Are you feeling better yet?" He asked.
"No." I say.
"Oh. Do you think you'll come to school tomorrow?" He asked.
"I don't know. Maybe." I say.
"Alright. Well I hope you feel better. And if you are I'll see you tomorrow." He said.
"Okay. Bye." I say and he said it to.

I hung up and laid back down to sleep.
I quickly dozed to sleep.
