The girls sat in the dressing room, nervousness eating them up since it was their debut stage. Though fans weren't actually there, it still made them nervous knowing that millions of people would be watching them.
There was a knock on the door, and Jinnie got up to open the door.
"Oh. Jaehyun Oppa, Xiaojun Oppa...hello." she bowed at them, making the other girls' attention turn to them. They also bowed.
"All the best for your performance." Jaehyun smiled, handing Dri a packet of snacks. "Here's something to eat after the show."
"Thank you." Dri smiled at him.
"Xiaojun Oppa...why don't you come inside?" Jinnie asked. Xiaojun nodded and came inside, and stood beside her.
"You look pretty." Xiaojun muttered, making Jinnie turn and look at him. "Hm? You said something?" She asked.
"Yeah, you look pretty." He repeated.
Jinnie's cheeks turned pink as she bowed. "Thank you." Her flushed face made her look cute.
Xiaojun clenched his jaw, trying not to smile but smiled anyway. "You're welcome...all the best for your performance."
"Thank you." She bowed again.
"Girls, it's time now...let's go backstage." Their manager said. "Oh, Jaehyun-si, Xiaojun-si...hello."
"Hello." Xiaojun and Jaehyun bowed at their manager.
The girls checked themselves for the last time in the mirror, before they walked out with the two boys shouting "all the best" to them.
After Performance
Jaehyun and Xiaojun were talking about the girls' stage presence was, and how they nailed the performance.
The door opened as the girls came inside. Everyone was really happy, knowing that they finally debuted. Jinnie, however, was quiet.
Xiaojun and Jaehyun went to congratulate the girls for debuting, and that's when Xiaojun noticed Jinnie's dropped mood.
"What's wrong?" He asked her, sitting beside her.
"My voice cracked." She muttered. "And I did two steps faster than everyone else."
"It's okay. It wasn't noticeable." He said.
"But..." she sighed. "I don't know..."
"What don't you know?" He asked, scooting closer to her.
"What if someone else noticed it and they spread it online, and then everyone will hate me and it will ruin ours and your reputation." She spoke so fast.
"Look..." He sighed. "People will hate on you no matter what. They're just jealous of your beauty and talents. So don't mind them. What you should think more about are the people who support you and who love you. Like your own groupmates."
Jinnie looked down, and nodded. "Thank you, Oppa."
"Call me Xiaojun. Oppa feels weird." He laughed, making her chuckle.
"Okay, Xiaojun."
