A month later, after beating numerous street leagues, Echo received a text from Tyler after finishing her Runner job.

Meet me at the construction site in the city. I found a way in. It's urgent. Meet me there

Echo, full of adrenaline, rushed to where Tyler was. When she arrived, Tyler was already there. She got out of the normal Camaro she drove and rushed out of the car, slamming the door

"Tyler? What's going on?" Echo asked

"I got a call from La Catrina wanting a rematch. What are you doing here?" Tyler said

"I got a text from you saying you had something urgent,"

"I never sent you a text,"

Echo turned around as she heard two engines revving

"Jess?" Tyler asked as Jess ran over to the pair

"Ty?" Jess asked

"What are you guys doing here?" Mac asked from behind Tyler

"I was checking up on Jimmy. An old client of mine,"

"And La Catrina wanted a rematch," Tyler said

"This girl from League 73 called me—" Mac said

"And I had a text from Tyler saying to meet here and it was urgent," Echo said

"What the hell?"

Echo paused before realization dawned on her

"Get in the cars. Now! Go! It's a setup!" Echo said, racing towards the Camaro

The trio rushed to their cars as well when a chopper put a giant spotlight on them all. They tore out of the construction zone and launched their cars off a ramp, following after each other with Echo in the lead. They came through a tunnel and landed on the road. Once they regained their lines, they sped off, trying to outrace the helicopter

"They were waiting for us the whole time," Jess said over the radio

"We can handle these guys. Divide and conquer, you know the drill!" Tyler said

"Aye, aye!" Mac said

"Copy that," Jess answered

"Got it," Echo said

"Whoa, whoa! What the hell—" Mac said

"Mac? What's going on?"

"Wait... I'm good, but the police chopper put a floodlight on me, and I started to lose control of my car!"

"You good?" Jess asked

"Yeah, ducked under an underpass. Looked like that stopped it. Careful guys, watch that spotlight,"

"Guys, whatever happened to Mac was coming from the chopper. Stay the hell away from it!" Echo said

"Dammit!" Jess exclaimed

"Jess?" Tyler said

"Sorry, I'm okay. Just made it through a barricade... Close one,"

"Air-7 to Control. I got a bead on one of the subject vehicles. Initiating Skyhammer," a voice came over the police radio

Echo looked up through the sunroof of her car and saw the helicopter above her, "God dammit! Why am I always the one to get hurt in these chases?" she asked

"Echo? What's going on?" Mac asked

"Chopper is above me. I got no where to go to avoid it and the cops on my tail,"
