Chapter 3

1 month later

"Miyeon!!!" Meixu screamed her name as soon as the girl entered the school premises.

"Meixu" Miyeon hugged her friend.

"I can't believe we are already going to graduate. I'm going to miss you."

"Same here Mei"

"Hey girls ready?" Yangyang said approaching them.

"Yeah"

"Let's go then."

The three friends entered auditorium. It was crowded with students of graduating class and their families.

The ceremony began with the principal's speech. After his speech, one by one the names of the students were called.

Miyeon went up to the stage to accept her certificate and give her speech.

It was followed by Meixu and Yangyang. One by one they went on stage to receive their certificates.

"Now let's go out for lunch." Meixu cheered.

"Okay."

The three friends went outside the school and took a bus to their favorite restaurant.

"Miyeon do you have any plans of coming back here?" Meixu asked as they settled down.

"Wait where are you going?" Yangyang asked puzzled.

"That's why Yangyang I tell you to listen carefully and stick with us."

"Guys chill, about coming back I'm not sure actually. Even if I do I won't be staying."

"Are you going back to South Korea?"

"Yeah!!"

"Is it Seoul?"

"Yes, why?"

"I sometimes go to Seoul with my brothers. So might as well meet you there."

"That's great then."

"Hey if you two meet, what wrong have I done?" Meixu butted in.

The two laughed at her.

"So Miyeon when are you returning?"

"Tomorrow morning."

Yangyang nodded.

The three of them had decided to spend the rest of the day together since it was their last day with the girl.

Miyeon was packing her last bit of luggages. She went over to her study table which was now empty, only a photo frame was there.

"Mieun" the girl whispered running her hands over the elder's picture.

"It's been two years already. I didn't even got the chance to cremate you. I'll visit you as soon as I return."

She put the frame in her bag and zipped it. All her packing were done. Nothing was left behind. The rooms were empty except for the furnitures.

Miyeon sat down on the bed. She was going to miss that place even though it's just two years, she spent there.

She would be missing her times with Meixu and Yangyang. The happy and sad times in the cafe with her manager and Chittaphon.

After having a cup of noodles as her dinner, Miyeon laid down on her bed. Waiting for sleep to engulf her.
