Chapter 23

Surin felt dizzy as she woke up. The room was dark so, it took her time to adjust. She found herself tied to a pole. Her hands were tied behind her. It was already aching as it was between the pole and her body.

The rope was too strong for her to break free. The lack of light made her unable to look for any sharp object.

Soon enough the door opened and a tall man entered the room.

"Looks like someone is finally awake."

"Who are you and what do you want?"

"Me? You need not know. What I want is death, death of you and your fellow teammates." He darkly chuckled.

"Fucking let me go."

"Not so soon dear."

The man walked out of the room.

"Boss what are you going to do with her"

"You will see soon." The man laughed like a manic as he took a seat in his office.

"Ugh, come on!!" Jisung groaned.

"Damn that number is switched off. We can reach it." Xiaojun groaned.

The hackers of the three units were inside the hacking room trying to find the location and other relevant data from the unknown phone number.

A day had already passed leaving the gang sleepless and without any lead. Taeyong was stressed and rarely left his office.

"Did you guys find any lead?" Doyoung asked as he came in the room.

"No, the phone is switched off so we can get the location." Xiaojun answered.

"Do you think it's Shark Blade?"

"My prediction is, it is one of the gangs under them." Yuta said.

Doyoung nodded.

The three hackers got back to their tireless job once Doyoung exited the room.

The dreamies sat together in the living room. Mark's jolly self was overshadowed by his dark side. Out of all the boys Mark had known Surin the most. They were close friends since a very young age. And he didn't want to lose her.

The clock ticked as the whole NCT base was engulfed in an awful silence. It was like that the time had been stopped.

As Johnny passed by the hacker's room, he was startled by the sudden flinging openof the door. Before he could process anything, Yuta and Xiaojun ran out towards Taeyong's office. He blankly stared at Jisung, who also came out of the room.

"Found some lead." The maknae spoke before walking away.

The hackers entered the leader's office.

"Found anything?" He asked immediately.

"It's TXT. They are probably working with Shark Blade." Yuta said.

Taeyong nodded, "Get their location and blueprint. Tell Doyoung to come up with a strategy."

They nodded and left the room.

It was midnight, the gang members made their way inside the meeting room.

"It TXT." Their leader started, "We have hacked in and found their location. Doyoung you can go ahead with the strategy."

Doyoung clicked some buttons on the table and a hologram of TXT's base popped out.

As he completed explain, Taeyong stood up.

"Jisung and Chenle will be in the field with Dream, Xiaojun will take Jisung's place, Winwin will be in medic room with Jungwoo."

They said boys nodded.

"We will attack tomorrow at dawn. Start preparing. You all are dismissed."
