Chapter 9

"Hyung what shall we do with her?" Mark asked.

"We clearly can't let her go." Yuta said.

"For now let's inform the others about her. Yuta I want you to get information about his girl." Taeyong said.

The three were currently in Taeyong's office thing what they should do to Miyeon.

"Come in" Taeyong said as he heard a knock on the door.

"What is it Jungwoo and Shotaro?" He asked.

"Hyung we know the girl." Shotaro said.

"How?" Taeyong stood up from his seat.

"Hyung she is actually my cousin Kim Miyeon. She goes to the same university as me and the 00' liners."

"We share a few classes together. She is friends with a girl called Bae Jiwoo."

"Hyung today I saw Miyeon with Jieun and Surin."

"Wait she knows Surin?" Mark asked.

"This girl seems interesting. Yuta you know your job. And Mark contact Surin and tell her to meet me."

The boys left the room, leaving Taeyong by himself.

Miyeon's eyes fluttered open and she found herself in an unfamiliar room. She sat up from the bed and looked around.

"Looks like you are awake." Two boy entered the room.

"I'll go inform hyung." The taller boy went outside.

"Who are you and where am I?" Miyeon asked.

"I'm Zhong Chenle. You are in NCT's base. Everything will be explained to you by Taeyong hyung. Just wait."

Miyeon hesitately nodded.

Soon the boy came back with two more behind him, one of them she recognised as her cousin. She stared at him wide eyed, to which Jungwoo looked away not wanting to keep an eye contact.

"Kim Miyeon right?" The girl nodded.

"Well I'm Lee Taeyong the leader of NCT. And You must be wondering why you are brought here?"

"W-why?" she stuttered out.

"Well you see my dear, you saw us fighting, which you clearly wasn't supposed to. We can't let anyone find out about our identity, so it's best for us took keep you here with us." Taeyong explained.

"But i won't tell anyone about this. Let me go."

"We can't do that." With that Taeyong left the room.

"Sorry Miyeon. I can't do anything about this." Jungwoo also walked out not making eye contact with her.

The rest of the two boys stood there awkwardly. The girl had her head casted down, she didn't know what to feel.

"Uhm... shall we show you your room?" Chenle said.

Miyeon followed the two boys outside. They brought her to her room.

"This is your room. I'm Jisung, if you need anything tell me, I'm in the room beside yours." 

Miyeon nodded and entered her room. It was quiet big. There was a large bed, a big wardrobe, a couch. The room also had an attached bathroom.

Walking over to the wardrobe she found it empty. As she was about to close it, a knock came on her door.

"Miyeon you can take my hoodie for now. Tomorrow we will get you dresses. And um your phone is with Taeyong hyung so if you need to contact anyone you need to ask one of us." Jungwoo said entering the room.

He placed the clothes on the bed and left.

"Why did you call me?" Surin said entering Taeyong's office with Mark behind her.

"Kim Miyeon do you know her?" He asked.

"Yeah but what do you want?"

Taeyong told her the incident that took place that evening. Surin sighed afterwards.

"So Miyeon got herself involved again!!"

"Again?" Mark furrowed his eyebrows.

Sirin told the two boys about Miyeon including the part about Mieun's murder.

"Taeyong, Mark, I trust you two. Not a single soul should know this." She left the room leaving the boys shocked.

"So one of them was alive all this time. This is going to be fun." Taeyong said with a smirk.

Miyeon changed in the cloths provided by Jungwoo. She laid down on the bed staring at the ceiling.

"Looks like I'm getting involved again. But this time you won't be around Mieun unnie."
