Chapter 44

"In the meeting room right now." Taeyong ordered.

All the members left whatever they were doing and rushed to the meeting room.

The projector displayed pictures of the missing members.

"Yuta track the 00 liners, Surin focus on Jieun, and Xiaojun focus on Shark Blade. Jisung I want you to check all the recent files of all our rival gangs"

Taeyong turned toward Doyoung. "You will find out about the other kidnapped students."

"Jaehyun and Hendery keep an eye on the police. We will let the police do their work."

"Hyung what if the police wants to take to family membe-"

"Me, Kun and Yumin would be enough for that." He cut Jungwoo off.

"Now everyone off to work." Everyone left the room as soon as Taeyong dismissed them.

"Taeyong can I go out for sometime?" Yumin asked before exiting the room.

"Take someone with you don't go alone, it's dangerous."

"But Jaehyun's busy." She frowned.

Taeyong sighed, "Knock at my office after you get ready. I'll be there."

Yumin gave him a soft smile and went out. She dressed up in a black one piece and came out.

"Taeyong I'm ready."

The boy opened the door and walked out.

"So where are we going?"

"Cemetery, but before that we'll stop at the flower shop."

They entered the car and drove to a flower shop. Yumin bought three bouquets of white and blue flowers, Taeyong also bought two.

On reaching the cemetery they first headed of to where her parents laid in peace. Taeyong bowed to the deceased before walking of to where his own parents laid. After spending sometime in front of their own parents sharing with them the happy and sad moments of their lives, Yumin got up.

Followed by Taeyong, they reached Mieun's grave. By that time Yumin already had tear glittering in her eyes.

She sat down in front of her best friend's grave. Keeping the flowers, she broke down in tears.

Taeyong stood there awkwardly seeing his childhood friend break down.

"M-Mieun" Yumin's voice came out as a whisper. "Why did you leave us? This is so hard. Sorry I can't leave up to your expectations. I must be such a burden to everyone. I can't even take care of anyone. Both Miyeon and Jieun are take. I don't want anything to happen to them."

Yumin looked up to the grave, wiping the tears with her sleeves. Taeyong looked at her, eyes softened since her condition.

"I really don't deserve this world. No one stays with me, first mom dad then you. I fear everyone will go away."

Taeyong sat down beside the crying girl. He placed his hand on her back and rubbed circles.

"No one's leaving you Yumin. We are a family. The girls and NCT will always be with you."

Yumin turned towards Taeyong, tears were streaming down her cheeks. The older boy pulled her up and gave her a hug. Yumin instantly wrapped her arms around him and cried.

Taeyong gently stroked her hair with one hand and the other was on her back.

After a few moments of staying in that position, Yumin broke the hug.

"Thanks oppa" she whispered as a blush crept on her cheeks.

"Wait what did you say?" Taeyong asked wide eyed.

"I'm not repeating myself." Yumin puffed her cheeks.

Taeyong giggled at her cuteness and pulled her in a hug again.

"Yumin never think we will leave you. We would never do that." He said placing a kiss on her forehead.

Damn that was cringey. Some Yumin and Taeyong crumbs for you all.
