(HAWKS POV)

That shadow...it's not (y/n), it's X. They physically look the same, right? Yeah... that makes more sense.

But... why would (y/n) be yelling at her own shadow?

Not to mention "How does it feel to be X? To be me?"

There's no way (y/n) would say that. No way. But this entire scene... that's not (y/n). What in the actual fuck, that isn't (y/n).

"Hm? Not really. It's fine; sometimes people need to be lied to, in order to make them feel better. Worked with that pathetic chicken, anyhow"

Keigo could've sworn he heard his heart shatter into a million pieces.

"Probably not. (y/n), co-operate and play nice, and I might just take it easy on this body"

The woman in his hallway - that's not (y/n), it can't be - pulled up her sleeve, and pulled out a small object from her pocket. It took Keigo a few moments to identify it as a pocket knife.

"I'm not afraid of scarring you. I'll make it nice and long, make sure you feel everything. Do you want that?"

She waved around the knife some more.

"Then listen to me. No more trying to kill me, no more joking around with your stupid pleas for me to stop playing around with Keigo. You listen to me, now. Do you understand? You're mine. The same way I used to be yours"

Thoughts swirled around in Keigo's head. That can't possibly be right; X is in (y/n)'s body? Is that what this is? He'd heard of quirks with drawbacks, but getting possessed by your own quirk? She hadn't mentioned anything about getting X taking over control of her body, but of course Keigo couldn't really tell who 'she' was, anymore.

The figure on the wall got out of their sitting position, let go of their knees, and got up. They placed their hand on their hip, and waved around the other angrily. (y/n)'s body didn't seem fazed at all by this, and wafted the shadow away.

"Keigo, baby, are done your shower?" she put on a smile, and spoke loudly, while maintaining eye contact with the wall, showing just how over-confident she was in rubbing everything in the shadow figure's face.

Knowing that he might get caught, Keigo tried to flutter upwards and backwards, without making a noise. He got back into the room pretty quickly, and leaned down to grab the towel he tossed aside before.

"Yeah. Angel, where'd you go?" he hollered innocently, bringing the towel up to his hair and ruffling it, trying to appear like he was busy.

'(y/n)' waltzed into the room, noticing him there, shirtless. "God, I think I'm regretting saying no to joining you for that shower" she put up a smile, and kissed him on the cheek.

Usually, this would make Keigo's heart go crazy, but right now, it's broken, shattered, confused as hell, and most importantly, lost. Lost like it's drifting in a sea of emotions he can't identify. Why? Don't people go through this all the time? No, they don't; they find out they're being cheated on, that their partner is breaking up with them, not that they were fucking their partner's quirk.

Although, he can't tell for sure if that is really what's happening. One moment, he was happily thinking of another glorious day at work with (y/n), but now...

Keigo's head was swirling with thoughts, causing a dizziness and light-headedness he'd never experienced before. He needed to lie down, but didn't want '(y/n)' to get suspicious. He needs to figure out who she truly is, and can't let her know that he heard her.
