I have decided that I don't give a shit how many people read, vote, and comment on this story. I enjoy writing it therefore I will continue to do so. That doesn't mean y'all have to stop voting and commenting, it just means that I'll continue to write it no matter how many people read it. (I really enjoy hearing y'all's thoughts on the story and not just on the authors notes. I'd especially love it if y'all would post theories or questions for my lil characters, I've worked really hard on this world (and characters) so I would love to answer any -nonspoiler- questions)
The eight unicorns followed behind the Gypsy Banders -as they called themselves- the family group leading them to one of the resting areas they frequented as travelers.
"So do we just make a campfire? Or do we build a cabin out of sticks and magic? Or what?" Roman asked.
"Just watch," Pip smiled, trotting over to Uma while Song and Doral unhooked themselves from the carts they had been pulling.
They then stepped back a couple feet, everyone else moving back as well. Both unicorns lowered their heads and magic erupted from their horns, the same type as the Northern Boreal unicorns, but this magic seemed different, almost alive: the colors twisting and dancing as they sprang from the horns to the wagons. The carts then started to change, unfolding and building themselves up themselves until two, large, tent-like buildings were before them.
Song and Doral trotted into the one on the left followed by Pip while Uma made for the one in the right.
"You can come on in if you want! There's plenty of room for everyone!" called Uma, everyone sharing quick glances before walking into the tent.
Inside it was like a Harry Potter tent. The outside looked so small in comparison the massive amount of space inside. There was the main area that was incredibly open, in the shape of a huge rectangle with cabinets on the walls (most likely storing food) nearby the entrance while a very spacious living room area was towards the back. The entire space probably was able to fit fifteen unicorns comfortably at one time. Then there were four branching rooms, two on each side. The rooms appeared to be bedroom for unicorns, able to fit three comfortably, but seemed to be prepared for one or two, with a pallet on the ground piled with many blankets and pillows then a mirror on one wall and stands where different necklaces of bells hung.
Everyone was completely gobsmacked by the place, their eyes huge as they tried to take it all in. It was magical, much like the Lunar library they went to when the first arrived.
"This place is incredible!" shouted Patton, his eyes round with amazement.
"Yes! How is this even possible!?!" Logan asked, looking just as spellbound as everyone else, if not more.
"It's a special type of magic reserved for Gypsy Bander unicorns. We developed a series of spells not only to allow for such space and for it to all compact neatly in a wagon, but to prevent those not welcomed inside from getting in. Our subspecies are nomadic, much like Voltage unicorns from The Silver Desert," Uma explained, laying down on a thick blanket in the living room area. They beaconed everyone over, there being large pillows and blankets layer around the area where everyone took a seat, or laid down on.
"We travel around the southern most parts of the North and the northern most parts of the South. Because of this we know more about other unicorn species than our kin species do. Like the fact that Soleil is growing stronger everyday, the little fucker," Uma continued.
