A Study Session From Hell

Rose's POV

4pm, Tuesday afternoon came around far to quick. Fred and George said they wanted to come to the library to to watch to show. Me and Malfoy's arguments were really that bad, Merlin.
My high heeled black boots stomped on the hard brick floor as I made my way to the library. I had pushed my hair back into a messy ponytail changed into my Slytherin jumper as it was freezing and mentally prepared myself for the torture that was Draco Malfoy's company.

As I entered the library I saw Malfoy sat at the very far end looking through a range of different textbooks.
I took a seat opposite him wanting to be as far away possible and dug out my textbooks from my bag.

"Your late" he muttered under his breath
"By one minute!" I cried out in anger
"Just don't waste my time again" he smirked
"Yes sir" I joked
"Smart arse" he muttered again under his breath
"Can we just study without an argument" I begged
"As you wish Blondie".

We peacefully worked for about 30 minutes, I had managed to do almost every spell much to Malfoy's disappointed because he could not say anything negative. However, the only reason I was managing to pull everything off was because Malfoy was actually a really good teacher...
We were just finishing off by making a few notes and flicking through our text books when Draco decided to drop his quill and throw a rolled up piece of parchment at me hitting me right in the forehead.

"What the bloody hell was that for" I whispered trying not to turn it into a shout
"I'm bored" he sounded like a spoilt little child
"Okay well if you can refrain from throwing things at me that would be great" I sneered
"But it's quite fun messing with you Blondie" he teased "Im not sure I can stop"
"I'm sure you'll survive" I said as I rolled my eyes.

I saw him begin to roll up a second piece of parchment, but I was faster than him. I quickly screwed up a piece of parchment I'd been writing in and tossed it right at him, hitting him hard. Which only made the smirk on my lips grow wider.

But he just laughed at me, but it wasn't a classic Draco Malfoy laugh. It was an actually proper laugh...

As the time paced forward it was finally 5pm and I almost jumped off my seat and collected my books.

"In a rush Blondie"
"Just want to get away from you"
"Get away from me? I hate to tell you we're in the same house" he teased, but as he spoke he moved closer towards me backing me into the stack of books at the back of the library
"Malfoy?" I questioned.

His silver almost grey eyes were locked onto my blue ones, and they were mesmerising, looking into his eyes was enough to make the heat rise up in my cheeks.
He tucked a stray hair behind my ear and placed his hands on my hot cheek.

"Does Diggory make you blush this way" he whispered into my hair, leaning forward.

My body was completely frozen and I couldn't even move, it felt like time had stopped and it was just me and Draco in the library. It felt as though his silver eyes had made me go into a trance and I just couldn't pull myself out of it. But the comment about Cedric was the last straw and with that I shoved him off of me hard making him stumble a few steps back.

"You narcissistic bastard Malfoy" I shouted
"Calm down I was only teasing" he said
"If you ever, ever do anything like that again you'll regret it! And as tutoring goes I am reporting back to McGonagall because I don't wanna be in the same room as you again".

My walk almost turned into a ran as I heard for my dorm room, I wanted to scream with anger god he was infuriating. All I had to do was owl McGonigal and it would be over.

The Following night

I had been lying in bed listening to Katherine tell me the funniest story about the prank Fred and George had done on Seamus and Dean when suddenly I received an owl.

Rose
Maddison has invited us to a gig tonight along with the rest of the gang, she can sneak us out of Hogwarts if you'd like. Meet me at the gates at 11pm and bring Katherine if you like

"What is is" Katherine asked curiously when she saw my huge grin
"Fancy going to a gig" i smirked
And with that we both jumped off of our beds to dig out some clothes for tonight, it was only 7pm and we have hours before we both had to leave but the idea of a party made me very excited.

Me and Katherine both helped each other get ready she was wearing a beautiful deep pink silk dress that complimented her dark hair perfectly. I on the other hand wore a pitch black dress, I was tight and had flowers embroidered all over it, with lace running along the top of the sweet hair neckline. I finished off the look with some thigh high books and layered a few necklaces to finish the look.

Once we arrived at the gates I saw a grinning Maddison followed by Cedric, Matt and a few more Hufflepuff's. Matt had been a friend of Cedric's since the first day they had attended Hogwarts, and any friend of Cedric's was a friend of mine.

"You look lovely" Cedric said as i grasped onto his hand.
"As do you" I winked.

And with that we all climbed over the gates of Hogwarts, luckily Cedric was very tall so he gave me and Katherine a leg up so we wouldn't plummet back to the ground. We then apparated to London's city centre, pushing our way past a sea of muggles to reach a very busy venue.

The music academy was lit with red neon signs, pictures of some of my favourite bands hung to the walls as the music playing vibrated through the floor boards. We all loaded up on drinks and headed to the dance floor. I lived for this, being with my friends without a care in the world. Me and Cedric has been sneaking off to gigs for years, over the years we had dragged Maddison with us. Although I had lessons first thing tomorrow I did not care as I latched onto Cedric watching him barely contain a smile as we listened to the music and took in the atmosphere of the room.
I planted a soft kiss on Cedric's lips admiring his happiness and it radiated off of him. Happiness looked so good on him.

And then we just danced all night to the music.

All our worries faded away, the adrenaline off sneaking away from the castle filling up my body making my fatigue now non existent.

But time ran away with us as we danced, not even noticing how long we'd been here for. Time slipped away like it was nothing.

"Merlin it's 6am" Katherine shouted over the music
"Wow erm we should get going" Cedric laughed barely able to stand up he was that drunk.

We had managed to sneak a few drinks the gig here and there, staying way past the band leaving the stage.

40 minutes went by as me Cedric and Katherine tried to hunt down everyone else.
"We'll just have to go without them it's almost 7am classes start in an hour" Katherine groaned.
And with that we apparated back to the Hogwarts gates and Cedric once again tossed me and Katherine over and all 3 of us ran back into the castle, constantly laughing as the alcohol still danced in our systems.

I pulled Cedric into a tight hug and softy kissed him, the feeling of the alcohol still ran through my veins as I turned on my heels. Me and Katherine headed to the dungeons, the rising sun burning into our skin as we made our way down the stairs and to the Dungeons.

We didn't even have time to think, racing into our dorm without a second thought. Katherine quickly fixed her makeup and tied her hair back meanwhile I fussed over the fact I had no clean school clothes apart from my robes. No skirts, skirts, nothing.
I took of my makeup and brushed my hair so I looked presentable wanting to push the issue of not having any clothes. I took in my appearance, seeing the bags underneath my eyes form.

"Your just going to have to wear your robe over your dress and hope no one notices" Katherine laughed
"No I can't" I said, embarrassed
"Rose you have no clean clothes, you must have forgotten to take them to get washed
I loudly groaned as I slipped my robe over my dress praying no one would see...
