Internal Bleeding

Rose's POV

Once I stepped inside I saw how different the room of requirement was in comparison to how it looked last year. It was cold, claustrophobic and felt oddly haunting. The room was piled sky high with an array of different objects, it was basically a junk room. I could hear faint noises coming across the other side of the room as the sound bounced off the walls and right back to me. As lightly as I could I began to walk towards the noise, trying my best not to make any noise whatsoever.

The nosies got closer and closer with every step I took until I came to a halt at the blinding sight of blond. He was looking closing at what appeared to be a cabinet, inspecting the insides of it curiously. I crouched down behind what looked like a book shelf as I stared at him curiously as he placed an apple into the cabinet. Once he turned around and I could see his face I noticed his sleeves were rolled up. I studied him as my eyes travelled up his arms not thinking anything of it, I'd seen his arms all year long. But then I saw it. The dark mark tattooed into his pale skin, right in front of my eyes.

I felt my entire body stiffen up as I stared at the skull and the snake...inked into his arms. Harry was right, all along. Shock ran through my body as I went to stand up and get away from what I was seeing, but I got up to fast and knocked a box of items, sending everything crashing to the floor. I couldn't have been louder even if I tried, the sound of the items crashing to the hard floor filled up the room of requirement.

I couldn't move my body, it felt as if my feet had been glued to the floor.

"Who's there!" Draco shouted.
But my throat was completely dried up, once I didn't answer I heard Draco's footsteps come closer and closer to me with caution.
"It's me!" I finally managed to shout.

Within seconds Draco had come running up to me as shock was written all over his face, he went to come closer to me but my body jumped away instantly. This made a flash of pain shoot through his grey eyes. Confusion at my action filling his face.

"Rose?" He questioned, however my eyes answered for me as they travelled once again down to the dark mark that was embroiled onto his skin. Draco followed my gaze as like me he stared down at his dark mark. But he looked shocked, like he has accidentally slipped up.
"No" He muttered as he met my gaze with a look of dread.

Silence

"Your one of them?" I finally stuttered
"I can explain everything!" Draco said desperately as he began to come closer to me.
"Don't come any closer!" I shouted, making him stop in his tracks
"Rose please please let me explain!"
"I've seen your arm before though" I said
"I used a charm to conceal it..."
"How long..."
"Rose..."
"HOW LONG DRACO"
"Since summer" He said staring down at the ground.

Silence

"Did you curse Katie Bell?".

Silence

"DRACO!" I shouted as I watched tears fall from his eyes and onto the stone ground.
"Yes" he muttered
"And you broke Harry's nose?"
"Yes"
"And this is why you've been forgetting about plans and disappearing for hours at a time"
"Yes".

Silence

"Rose please doesn't have to change anything!"
"It changes everything Draco" I cried "I mean how could I ever trust you again!"
"I love you Rose, please I'm begging you"
"You've been lying to me all this time" I scoffed
"I'm sorry I wanted to tell you I did!".

Draco began to come closer to me only making anger rise more as I stepped back with each step he took to me. I could see the desperation on his face as his cheeks stained with tears. But I couldn't feel anything other than hatred for that mark, anger, and heartbroken.
