Chapter 8

Over the next couple weeks me and Jordan been back on our bullshit. We was doing whatever we had to do to get money. We was robbing stores, gas stations, and people. We was short a couple hundreds of dollars to getting me a car and a house. We couldn't stay at his dads and my place wasn't gone work either once I brought my baby home. I still hadn't told Jas or Jayden I was pregnant. I was skipping school again and we was just tryna make shit work.

You got your gun and mask.? Jordan asked as we pulled Into the gas station around back.

Yeah..... you want me to go in first.?

Yeah.! Start it off than ima come in and finish it. I want you to run out and pull the car up make sure you ain't in no camera way.

I love you too.! I leaned In to kiss my boyfriend. I got out the car and went in and it wasn't nobody In The store. I grabbed a stick of gum and made sure I wasn't showing my face. I walked out the store and sat my purse down and took my glasses off . I pulled my ski mask down and tucked my hair. I went back into the store and up to the clerk.

Give me all the fuckin Money now.! I yelled in a deep voice pulling my gun out. "Give me the money.!" I yelled again aggressively. The man was so scared. Jordan came in with his gun drawn and I gave him the bag. I ran out the store picking my stuff up from the ground and running to the car. I pulled up close to the building but not to close. Jordan came running out with a bag. I opened his door and he got in. I sped off so quick in the opposite direction hurrying getting on the freeway to go downtown. Every time we did this I was so nervous.

Look I gotta another job for us that can get us some real money.! He said as I turned into the parking lot of our soon to be apartment. He counted the money and it was three hundred dollars.

What's the job.? I asked taking a bite of my sandwich.

Rental cars. My man got this plug who wanna buy and trade rentals. We go steal the rentals and take them to a drop off spot and than we get paid for it.

How much.?

Any where from 250-400 a car.!

When we gone do this.?

Shit I don't know I'm just waiting for him to say the word.

Okay.....so how much is that.?

300.! We can split this and put 150 towards yo car and 150 towards the apartment or take the whole 300 and put it towards the apartment.

Put it on the apartment. I rather have a place to live and go back to every night rather than a car or something.

I was hoping you would say that.! He said smiling. He took some extra couple dollars out his pocket and counted all the money. He had 1,350 dollars in his hand. "You wanna come sign the lease with me.?!" He asked smiling.

Yeah right.! That's it.? That's all of it.?! I questioned smiling hard as hell.!

All 1,350.! You ready.

Hell yeah.! I screamed happily jumping out the car. I ran over to him and hugged him tight. I was so excited and happy. He picked me up kissing me. "You did it baby.!"

Naw bae WE DID IT.! He said correcting me smiling.

Over these past few weeks Jordan was not playing he was on grind mode. He was going so hard for us and I really did see a change in him. I was proud of him. He was standing on his words. We walked into the rental property office and met with the realtor. I was so excited to sign our lease. I was becoming a full blown adult.

She handed us the keys and gave us a map to get to our apartment. I was so excited it gave me lent house vibes. It looked like something out of a hotel. We was on the fourth floor of the apartments, had a balcony, three bedrooms, and stainless steal appliances. It came with a 65 inch living room tv and that was it.

Can we stay the night in our house tonight baby.?! I asked smiling holding him by his waist.

Anything baby.!

Let's just take the car money and go buy stuff for our house.! We can get groceries and stuff now. It's a Walmart a couple blocks from here. We can buy one of those 4ft giant king size air beds until we get a bedroom set. Pots and pans and stuff oh my god baby we have a house.! I screamed jumping up and down. He just leaned against the island smiling watching and admiring me.

Let's go.! He smiled. I followed him out the door and it locked behind us. We left our building than went to the car. "I got a surprise for you.!" He said smiling.

What.?!

Open the trunk.! He said clicking the button. I opened it slowly and it was the Pink Minnie Mouse baby car seat and stroller seat, some diapers and wipes, also some cute little onesies.  I started to cry and he hugged me tight.

How did you get all this.?! I asked wiping my tears.

The car seat and stroller was on sale for 80 dollars so I had to grab it. And I just picked up some stuff. We don't have long before she gets here and I just wanna have some type of start.

I love it baby thank you.! I kissed him and hugged him.

Alsoooooo I actually gave her the money for the rest of the year and for a whole year so I really gave her 8,000. Any money we get we can just focus on your car and furnishing our house and the baby.!

I'm so proud of you thank you.! I sang happily. I kissed his lips again and smiled. "I love you.!"
