Sophie's POV
I rush trying to get ready. Today is my date with Rylan. I brush on some silver eye shadow and some light pink lip stick. I pull on a simple outfit, light wash jeans, a white blouse with red floral print on the neck line, and brown knee high boots. I pull my hair into a fish tail braid, then I wait.
Ding dong
The door bell rings.
"I GOT IT!!!" I scream.
I open to door to see Rylan in a white dress shirt and black jeans.
"Here these are for you." He says and hands me a small lily.
"Thanks!" I tuck the flower into my hair. "You're staring." I say.
He turns bright red. "You look really pretty."
I smile. "So where we going."
He smirks at me and takes my hand. "It's a surprise."
(Time skip)
He pulls into a parking spot at the park. He rushes to my side to open the door for me.
He takes my hand and guides me over to a hidden area.
A small lake is in the center. Underneath a willow tree is a beautiful picnic set out.
"Do you like it?"
My mouth is wide open. "Yes" I gasp. "It's beautiful."
He chuckles and sits down. I sit down next to him.
The whole time he is joking around. We laughed a lot. I got to know him and he got to know me. I really like him. He is so kind.
(Time skip)
He walks me over to my door.
"I had a great time." I say.
He smiles, "Do you want to go out again?"
I pretend to think about it, "Sure."
He kisses my cheek and waves good bye.
