Keefe's POV

The week went by way too slow for my liking. But what ever. I'm on my way to the beach. I'm a life guard so what.

I jump out of bed and hurry through my routine. I grab my gear and head out.

When I get to the beach I check in and head to my tower. I climb up and put my gear in the back. I take the look out from Paisley.

Bored out of my mind.

"KEEFE!" A voice yells. Urgency in the voice.

I turn to face...Sophie?

"Ummm may I help you?"

"You need to hear me out. Aella there is something weird about her. The other day I..." she chokes up, "I found Rylan cheating on me so I ran out the back of the school. There I saw Aella and Fitz. Aella was yelling at Fitz. Saying something about Madagascar. She threatened Fitz and told him not to tell anyone. After he left she said something is going to happen in a few weeks. There is something really off about her." Sophie rambled on.

"Are you done now?" She nods. "I don't believe you. Aella is really sweet she wouldn't do anything like this. And if you really wanted me you could've just said so instead of making this up."

"I didn't make this up Keefe. It's true. Please believe me." Sophie begs.

"I can't without proof." I say stubbornly.

She says something else but I ignore her. "Just go Sophie."

Hurt flashes on her face. "I'm only looking out for you." She says glumly.

Sophie's POV

THE NERVE.

Keefe said I'm lying. If only I recorded the conversation between Fitz and Aella.

I groan. Why can't he believe me. I'm only looking out for him because...maybe I care more than I intend to.
