[And if I chose the one I'd like to help me through
I'd like to make it with you]
"Hey, pet." Niall greets, walking into the apartment. I looked up from the book I was reading and smiled.
"Hi."
"How are you feeling today?" He left a quick kiss on my lips before I answered.
"Fine. Pretty tired, but that's normal." I shrugged.
"And what about our little angel?" He asked. I smiled, lifting up my loose t-shirt, revealing the eleven week mark. The bump wasn't big, but you could tell it was there and it was easy to cover. Niall kept his grin, leaning down and pressing light kisses. "
Very moody. Got me sick a couple times today already." I sighed, rubbing the tiny belly above Niall.
"Now, love. You know better than to make mummy sick like that." He said to the bump, making me giggle. "Anyways, are you ready to go? It's almost three and it's the first appointment!" Niall said excitedly. I chuckled, standing up and fixing my pants.
"Yes, I'm ready." Today was the first ultrasound that we can see the baby since we scheduled too late, but finally, after waiting a month, we finally were able to get an appointment.
When we got to the office, I felt the eyes of other patients following Niall and I to check in. I noticed that Niall did too, but ignored it and kept his hand on my lower back. Niall and I took our seats in the very uncomfortable waiting room chairs with a cushion that didn't make it any better. But Niall didn't look bothered.
"This is so exciting! After this, we can tell the families and the boys. OOH! Can we do those cute reveals that people do? The ones where they show them the picture or send them a t-shirt?"
"Niall, calm down." I chuckled, running a few fingers through my hair. "How about we wait until after the first trimester?" I suggested.
He pouted, "But it takes too long! When does it even end?" He whined.
It warmed my heart that he was so excited about the baby, but I would hate to admit that I was still terrified. It wasn't long until the first trimester ended, and so far, nothing out of the normal happened, but I was just hoping nothing would happen at all.
"One more week, then we can tell everyone." I smiled.
"Have you not told your family yet?" He asked, a shocked expression plastered on his features.
I shook my head, "I was waiting to tell anyone. Yomara was my guide since she's obviously pregnant." I sighed.
I wanted to tell my family and I wanted to see their reaction, but I was waiting to tell them for the same reason as I was waiting to tell Niall. He shrugged, "It's okay. We can tell our families at the same time." He assured, placing his hand on top of mine on the arm rest.
"Would your family be disappointed?" I asked, referring to the rule of being married before having kids.
He shrugged, "I don't know. Hope not."
Our heads snapped to the nurse at the entrance holding a clipboard and wearing purple scrubs. "Horan." She called. We stood up and I looked over at Niall, raising my eyebrows.
"Horan?" I asked quietly.
He shrugged, unaffected. "Baby Horan. Duh." I shook my head with a light laugh as we followed the nurse down a hallway and into an empty, dim lit room with a monitor next to the hospital bed in the middle of the room.
